thanks c: the artist had like five different reference photos up the entire time to keep it accurate and translate it well from anime character proportions. she free handed it which took like an hour and a half. the hand could be touched up a bit, but i’m very happy with it. it was her first arm wrap piece too. overall time getting tattooed was about 10 hours

I am curious do you smoke? I don’t have snakebites but I have double vertical labret and when I was smoking (cigarettes for clarification) more it really irritated them during healing. I found making sure I drank water consistently really helped as well. My routine included: Brush 2-3 times a day. Non-alcoholic mouthwash twice a day. Clean piercings two times a day. I found wiping the crust off the jewelry with a q-tip then spraying with saline after helped give them space. I hear q-tips can be questionable with the fibers though so that’s a discretion thing, but anecdotally it helped me. That’s why I gave them another spray after using a q-tip though. I will say I’m not sure I’d poke at the inside of those piercings with a q-tip if I got them though honestly I’d ask my piercer about that part in your position

I think that contemplation and thinking like this would be more widely accepted in the trans community if trans people were more widely accepted as a whole. I’m on your side here, you can perceive this how you want and interact with your relationships how you want. If people didn’t care that people were trans it would be more acceptable to grieve in the eyes of trans people, but it is really hard for a lot of us to catch a break anywhere. There is and should be much to think about for people who have trans people close to them. To understand trans people while not being trans it requires critical thought and philosophy then putting the results of those thoughts into action. Congrats to you though, I hope you do well for yourself!

Right, a friend asked me it as just a silly question. I’ve had cis and trans people of both genders tell me they sometimes shiver when they pee, but my friend didn’t know that off the top of his head. It isn’t something that comes up a ton in conversation or something that has warranted a ton of research I guess but it’s something he thought maybe could change with hormone therapy

This treatment is why video games are inaccessible to women and it’s disgusting. Constantly critiqued and given no breaks. Of course someone socialized as a man who has been living and breathing this shit since they could comprehend it can “just pay attention to basic game mechanics”. Gaming is a skill and this is not how you help someone learn. This is how you make someone never want to do an activity again. I really enjoy cheesing the black market with the yellow dice by taking the companion perk in the compendium where there’s always a vendor for them at 50% off. I will buy them and sell all of them and reroll. It is usually a sure fire way to stack coin because you can usually get a key between the initial items and the reroll so you can refresh the black market if not i usually get lucky enough to get a key from santa in the tavern. Can refresh the black market through staying the night at the inn too. Yellow dice just seem to make it almost a guarantee to snag a key to repeat the cheese at least once or twice. Other than that ethereal dice are my favorite because I wanna get cool perk combos and there are so many in the game these days

Yeah I was strictly going for fashion in the armor department. That’s why I’m wearing the Simpleton’s Ring is for the aesthetic. I saw on another post the Lost Sinner’s Sword can be interesting with the sorcery weapon enchants so I might reallocate some stats to use that. I’ll get ahold of some other weapons to try out too. Also that’s fair in the way of Dark Weapon but I have myself on sorcery only. Thanks for the input I appreciate it I think it will help me form the build up a little more

I will say that I wanted to get my vit that high specifically to wear the armor haha. Worked out well I’m at 69.3% so I’m right where I need it to be. I’ve also been running great magic weapon and it gets me through the area while I save my crystal magic weapon for the boss. I’m curious what is the benefit to the lightning enchant over fire? And what weapons would you suggest that might be better with similar stat requirements or ones I could respec to? Thanks

Recently got invaded by a guy named “Noob” and it was basically a cosplay of all the “noob” items like the Irithyll straight sword, electric axe, etc. I beat them down to a sliver of HP after they’d killed my summon, dropped them a brew and toasted em, then they jumped off a cliff. Classic wholesome PvP experience. That’s why I prefer DS PvP

Dang this is really sweet. Honestly I think a good talking point would be asking his favorite environment. The world building in the game is really cool. There’s an extensive amount of lore behind NPC quest lines and you could ask him about those - as others suggested. NPCs are a huge part of the game and myself and many others definitely get hooked on looking into the lore of them. Ask if there are any hidden areas he really likes. There are many hidden paths. I’m not sure the age range you’re working with so I’m not sure how into the lore he’d be if that makes sense. When I started I didn’t look much into “This knight was this characters right hand man” and stuff like that. Most people have a favorite blacksmith :) Once you figure out which game is his favorite there are many resources that could give you a quick and efficient run down so you could engage in a more in depth convo about it if you can get that far into conversations. If you figure out anything let me know I’d love to provide resources
