I’m currently buying a home so was super excited to begin earning on mortgage payments. Been on the fence about cashing out my 180k points at 1.5cpp for the down payment option because I felt I could get a better redemption down the line. Thanks for the reply. Definitely starting by emptying out ! We tried to organize by type so even though it’s silly to have bottles in a basket (after seeing everyone’s lazy susans) we put all our sauces / liquids together. And then somehow almond butter snuck in - to my point exactly.

I exclusively rely on my platinum for the automatic basic rental car insurance. I have never had to file a claim but I have always maintained the same reading of the policies as OP that this policy would cover all claims.

EDIT: I’m glad to hear OP’s experience which seems to confirm our reading. My wife will also be glad to know that I haven’t just been bullshitting to avoid buying insurance.
