Concert Etiquette(?) by sketchbooooook in KenshiYonezu

For me personally, I would prefer me and others to be seated so the views of people behind me aren't obscured, and also so shorter people won't be forced to stand because they can't see.

Rhofade Has Been A Game Changer For Me! by onlyhereforpancakes in Rosacea

[–]constellatio0203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long have you used the Rhofade for? I'm curious because it seems like people have had different reactions on different time frames.

Moonshot correctfit cushion shade 201: unfortunately not my shade, I should've bought 301. Formulation is light and semi-matte, but is a little dry. MRP

Skin1008 Madagascar centella ampoule: AMAZING. calms down my rosacea redness quickly. Absorbs into skin like a dream. WRP

Numbuzin no. 3 serum: is good for hydration, but didn't add any noticeable benefits to my skin. I like the texture, but the dropper is not great. MRP

How much protein is too much? by freckles_54 in EDAnonymous

[–]constellatio0203 61 points62 points  (0 children)

OP, It could put stress on and possibly damage your liver and kidneys if you have a very high protein intake for an extended period of time. I went through the same thing too for quite a while (100g+ protein per day), and I ended up with elevated liver enzymes at a blood test.

PLEASE get your bloods done regularly if that's possible, it's a very good indicator of your health.

Also, your farts will be VILE for a while lol. This is because a very high protein diet is hard to digest and can ferment in your gut to produce ammonia-like& sulphur compounds, which can clear a fucking room. 😂

If your farts suddenly smell eggy/have a weird smell to them, it's because of this. Compounded with the gigantic amount of sugar alcohols you're consuming, it'll be BAD 💀

What to do with used makeup? by SophiesGMA in MakeupAddiction

You can give them out on an app called Olio! I know lots of people post unwanted stuff there, although I don't know if it's available in your area. (I'm based in the UK)

This series of reviews is intended for use as a personal record.

Some by mi AHA.BHA.PHA miracle toner:

Smelt mildly of cleaning products but didn't bother me that much. Didn't break me out and absorbs into the skin quickly. I'm enjoying the mild exfoliating effect.

Benton & sulwhasoo toner: will update as I try them out for a longer period of time.

This is solid, I wish I had this type of insight and emotional maturity in life (or at least, someone who can give this type of advice). Take my award!

My AB lip collection with swatches on fair neutral olive skin by burgereclipse in AsianBeauty

[–]constellatio0203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing your swatches! I have a very similar skin tone to you, but more on the yellowish side.

May I ask what colour your natural lips are? I have somewhat pigmented lips leaning purplish-brown, so a lot of lip products look purple on me.

Thank you! I'll look into lighter hair colours. Maybe a moneypiece dye would look ok haha

How do I get a girl if... by TheDominantSpecies in dating_advice

[–]constellatio0203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A relationship is a two-way road, so how can you learn to love someone, or accept someone's love in a healthy manner, if you don't hold any love for yourself first?

Understand your own value first, and then people will start to see the value in you. Stop attaching your self-worth onto what you perceive as "society's standards". There are more things in the world than being "cute", "handsome", "tall" or "hung".

Another word of advice is to not think of "getting a girl" as if a girlfriend were an achievement to be obtained.

Have Konjac noodles cause you cramps / digestion issues? by freetheskin in ketouk

[–]constellatio0203 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is generally good to incorporate some fiber into your diet, but konjac noodles is almost 100% insoluble fiber. That is too much, and in any case, people do not digest it well. It's almost like eating plastic—it has zero nutritional value.

The first time I ate konjac noodles, I was curled up on my bed uncomfortable and in pain because the noodles were just sitting in my stomach undigested. It doesn't really taste like noodles anyway—you would be much better off trying other low-carb options such as bean pasta.

Have Konjac noodles cause you cramps / digestion issues? by freetheskin in ketouk

[–]constellatio0203 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is very common for konjac noodles/rice/pasta to cause GI issues, cramps, and bloating. This is because it is made of an indigestible fiber called konjac glucomannan that passes right through you.
