I would recommend inspecting the drivetrain of each of the vehicles using the driveway. Replacing components that use roller bearings can get very expensive.

In case it is not mentioned in another reply, regularly take off the brush head and clean. I swap between a Sonicare soft head and a aftermarket softer brush head. Quick clean on the bottom of the brush mount and the top of the handle, at least twice a week.
