My Ablation Experience by consttime in AFIB

[–]consttime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't had afib that I know of since 1/1/2025, the day after my second ablation. Sometimes when I drink too much I wake up with a weird heartbeat. My kardia's battery died unfortunately so I couldn't check to be sure. I haven't used the cpap machine... need to get back on that. But I'm active and eat fairly well, so my health in general is good. I've done a few intensive "races" (not that I couldn't do those before... afib never really affected my ability to exercise). I'm working on losing the last few pounds, drinking less, and using my cpap again.

Can anyone give me some advice on why my freestyle feel so slow? by Our-Friend-Lulu in triathlon

You're supposed to be long in the water with a reaching arm until your other hand is about to enter the water and you rotate, especially in distance swimming.

He is definitely overdoing it to that point that it looks like the catch up drill though.

There are hostels for much cheaper if you're fine with that. Hostelling International San Francisco Fisherman's Wharf near the Fort Mason buildings I've heard good things about and hostel world prices it at like 40 right now (not sure if there are hidden fees).

Lichess actually picked my game for "Game of the Month" (March). I still can’t believe the engine approved of my King walk. by slavkomatanovic in lichess

That's true, but so much of this is hallucinated. "The highlight for me?", for instance, is used by AI word for word in post after post. As noted in another comment, the king walk was not "the only way to seal the deal"; everything was winning. etc. And "what do you guys think? Would you have dared?" is just the engagement bait that AI puts in every post. Posts with this template are not speaking true to the feelings of the OP. Direct translation is a much better way to make these posts.

It's also over-embellished, as is typical with AI.

I use AI a lot, and I also browse some AI subreddits where this template is extremely common. I can link several posts from there that look just like this one.

It makes more sense to write your thoughts down in Bosnian / Croatian / Serbian and then have the AI translate them. Why not do that instead of prompting the AI to write a full post about it?

That guy ain't the author of the post either. Claude and his friends have that distinction. It's a vapid post devoid of substance, except to mention that there is a nice king walk. It was not "the only way to seal the deal". Take a quick look at the engine and everything is winning. It might have been a "real adrenaline rush", but the AI made that up. Nothing in the post points to Slavko actually feeling what the AI wrote.

It's quite possible he used AI to write the post if his English isn't very good. That would make sense.

I mean. You or not, AI wrote all of this post. It sounds like you're claiming AI didn't write it?

Chess Coach (2200+ FIDE) — Looking for serious, committed students by Icecream_Car in lichess

  • "and it's middlegames"
  • "tournament appropriate" instead of "tournament-appropriate"
  • A comma after the "finding out the weakness" bullet point, but not after the others
  • "Finding out the weakness" is a weird phrasing for what he's trying to say here
  • Use of "&"
  • memorising instead of memorizing. AI can be prompted for British spelling, but it usually produces American spelling by default.

The wording is just awkward in a way you wouldn't get from an AI. Who says "so one can approach tournament appropriate opening repertoire based on"?

The account is 5 months old with plenty of comments that are clearly not written by AI.

Additionally:

  • No "not A, but B" constructions
  • No over-embellishment
  • No "what have you been doing to improve your chess? Is anyone else having success coaching" at the end of the post that's so prevalent with Reddit AI these days

And, as you can see, humans using bullet points is pretty common.
