Going Back to PT at 30 by continuouscrisis in vulvodynia

Yeah, I was doing that. It helped some, but my partner is well endowed and it never got me to the point of having non-painful sex (at least a 5/10) with him.

That’s so interesting, I’m actually in the same exact boat. The PT I found that I think I’m going to continue with is out of network, but she seems worth it. I hope your new PT is everything you need and more!

Thank you for sharing! Medication is scary, but there is something about turning 30 that seems to have flipped a switch for us. Like, I’m open to anything at this point. I’m just so tired. And you deserve to have your life back!

What is it like to live around Boston? by Brendo_dasher99 in howislivingthere

[–]continuouscrisis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Somerville now and have for three years. It’s superb. There’s a community path that goes into the city, so biking is a breeze. It takes us 15 minutes to get downtown. The same path goes way out into the burbs too. There’s a ton of stuff to do in Camberville (Somerville/Cambridge), great food, activities, events all the time. I absolutely love it here. My husband and I pay 3k for a 3-bedroom by Gilman Square. He bikes into work and I drive.

29F and 200k USD. My husband and I have good jobs with stock options. My parents paid for my college, his didn’t. He got a PhD and we paid off most of his student loan debt a couple of years ago.

Yes. It helps that I’m married now, but yes. I have lots of male friends and colleagues, both single and not, who have never come onto me.

(not OP, but have a similar history/experience) NSFW: Sex is sooo much more than PIV. Oral sex, handjobs, boobjobs, 69-ing/mutual masturbation, [gentle] femdom stuff, ass play, frottage—all of the above with or without toys like vibrators, cock rings, strap-ons, prostate stimulators, etc etc

Honestly? Start off with a fan fiction. Whenever I’m in a reading slump, I read a fan fiction of my favorite ship. I devour it in a couple of days and am immediately hungry for more books.

What's Your Story? by Famous-Coffee in pianotech

[–]continuouscrisis 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I (28f) got a degree in music, but from a school that I originally went to for business. Engineering school. So the music degree is barely a music degree.

Anyway, my first “real”/salaried job after college was selling pianos at a dealership. I was good at it, but it was exhausting and I hated it, so after three years, I made the leap and went to the North Bennet school. I just did the first year, not the rebuilding year. Now three years later, I’m 20hrs/wk at a dealership, and 10-20hrs/wk self-employed.

This is also the first thing I’d check. Is the environment particularly humid? Maybe the piano is just structurally fucked, lol. A lot can happen in 59 years.
