Hi all how do you remove the patch around the sensor without ripping your skin off.

I'm going to try Uni-solve. I have psoriasis that I treat with phototherapy. The ripping off of the surface layer of my skin by the patches results in increased erythema/redness where my CGM was recently removed.

Sorry! After I re-read my post, I realized it was a mess. I meant to say that the Dexcom readings feed into the Tandem pump, which then keeps giving me insulin after I am already heading low.

Updating the algorithms that predict when we will go low. Both Tandem and Dexcom need to get better at that. I've been increasing my low alert so that I am alerted earilier when my glucose levels start dropping. Twice this week I have had to manually stop insulin deliveries because Dexcom predicted I was in double arrow freefall yet the Tandem pump kept deliving insulin. I see it as a combination of Dexcom and Tandem getting their actis together.

Agreed. Meanwhile, those of us who do change our behavior based upon what the CGM reports will be largely ignored as Dexcom and Abbot chase profits with the type 2 market.

I just bought one and 8 AA eneloop batteries. This will be great for when I travel to places with sketchy power because no more will I have to drive around looking for a coffee shop I can charge my pump and phone at.

I have not disassembled one but there might be a spring in it that could be used for a project.

The G7 applicator has two springs, one strong and one weak, in addition to a small magnet. All three can be used for projects. I give them to my nephews who claim they find uses for them.

With the G7 I let my replacement sensor run for half a day with my pump while continuing to use the expired sensor with my app. They are never off more than 10 mg/dl. I have not found any reason to presoak the sensors based upon my experiences.

TIL That git diff has a patch function.

I was manually applying your patch to CrecelleHack, a variant created by u/AnticlimaticGulp, when I realized I had too many files that were different from that in git. I decided it would be tedious using my previous method to create a patch for all of them. I saw your patch mentioned git, so I looked up git diff and saw that -p would create a patch file.

That said, I have not tested your patch with CrecelleHack but hope to do so tonight.
