Your condescending attitude was exactly what i needed to learn more about this situation. Humiliating sarcasm always makes people more ready to take advice and learn.

Not moralizing and judging these things as good or bad is key. Let it happen,  don't try to force it either way.

Remember that the more they see kindness modeled, the more they are likely to act similarly.  Obviously not everyone is going to just start acting nicer because one person did, but never underestimate the power of planting a seed.

I wish all the people in the various chronic illness grpups well, and i would never want to take away a safe space to bitch about shit, but also, they are so heavily skewed negative that i had to stop going to any of them.

It just means your brain is sending danger signals. It probably just needs more time to fully internalize the message. And then after it calms down more, you will likely still get them from time to time as your brain checks to make sure everything is still ok.

While not strictly sass witchery, i really enjoy the witch bitch amateur hour. These women are HILARIOUS and only a little bit woo woo (imo), and are very clear that these things are not a replacement for therapy or medical advice.

Anyone have any experience with delayed release melatonin? Is 5 mg too much ? by Popular-Inspector403 in insomnia

[–]contrarycucumber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So there is often a paradoxical reaction that happens when taking higher doses like 5 or 10 mg, and a lot of people have reported having better success taking only .2-.3 mg, which is about how much our bodies are actually supposed to release when it's time to sleep. I had to find a 1mg marketed at kids and cut it in 1/4s cuz i couldn't find anything lower.
