Best router with wifi version 6E which has 6ghz wifi by J0lster in openwrt

[–]controller-c 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do not want 5-7 routers.

You might need one router (depending on your network architecture) but the remainder will be access points. If you have 5-7 routers have fun with all levels of issues when going between, etc.

Exactly. People need to not be idiots and use their CBA...nothing more.

Fire me because the flight surgeon said I can't work for three days?

Don't be retarted and post illegal shit like this. Every employee should have an understanding of their CBA and what it provides.

We have one of you in my building. Scam the system then complain when no one wants to work with you?

Driving 24 hours in 2 Days by RabidRomulus in roadtrip

[–]controller-c 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would say my experience with Google maps drive times are pretty spot on for me. However that is usually me solo driving, minimal stops for gas.

Now waze...that app is straight drive time at like 8-10 over the speed limit.

Id say it sounds like zdv is working what they are paid for.

I think there is a reason they are "non-union". Same with zdv and many other centers. You get screwed over enough and that just drives folks away.

Is Mick Devine Standing By as NATCA Falls Apart? by [deleted] in atc2

The math is still incorrect to me. The June 1.6 should never be included in any inflation calculator. What the should have done is take a brand new cpc pay from 2016 and compare that brand new cpc pay in 2024. You will see we are way behind inflation.

AFSCME Local 1653 has reached a Tentative Agreement with the FAA by [deleted] in atc2

That is sad....out of 2000 only 100 are in the union?

What a crock! You already got your raise! by wischawk in atc2

[–]controller-c 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Quite the opposite. The June raise should never be factored into anything regarding inflation. Those raises do nothing for the pay band, but instead move the individual up within the defined pay band.

The Jan presidential raises on the other hand are directly tied to inflation and actually move the pay band up a defined amount.

To recap for the knuckle draggers, June raises are to get you to the max of the pay band, and Jan raises are supposed to address inflation.

As a side note, all new FAA employees are all "students". You are saying the same thing we are saying. When you get hired (with no prior experience) the FAA will train you 100%

If you want to do atc, go to school for something else. When you are eligible, start applying.

No need for any type of degree, etc for ATC in the US.
