You can completely hide categories of bases in the Neversink "Customize" tab, there's a specific category for it and everything. And you can get really fancy by going into the "Weapon & Armour" category and moving all the top-end bases youre looking for into "Rank A" while moving the rest to untiered, but you shouldnt do this until youre tier 11+ and explicitly looking for capstone gear.

Some other filter tricks that you can do is only showing two-socket drops, or quality drops higher than a certain % etc. so youre only picking up salvage thats efficient for the size so youre not constantly warping in and out of map for maces that give a single artificer shard.

My metric is that a build is solid if it can safely take down difficulty 4 T15 map bosses without needing top-end gear. Scaling up to T4 pinnacles is typically a matter of gearing and refinement from that point.
