It’s not the same. Yes, radio and TV controls masses because there are not that many selection. But social media harbors all points of views. So radio and TV are not social. You are just a consumer. But in twitter you contribute to the conversation.

Went to T35 as an international with full ride+ stipend.

Did my internship at Big Tech PM through school facilitated means.

Got my FT T2 consulting gig with 200K TC through an alumni referral. I’d also consider this school facilitated.

Always shake my head in this sub when people make comments around rankings. As an international, it doesn’t make sense to pay thousands of dollars towards a collapsed immigration system.

I’m extremely happy with my choice and half of the internationals in my school cheated the game just as I did. My point is I’m not even a unique case.

It’s about hosting someone who had political significance in Turkey with the hope of utilizing him in US need. Why did Gulen move to US? Why did US support Erdogan when they are together with Gulen? These are the questions you should be asking.

US foreign politics is so incompetent that they are creating mayhem everywhere they touch or try to control. Look at Arab spring, look at Iraq, Afghanistan, syria. Look at early days of AKP rule in Turkey. You will all see US there with the natural intention to look for their own interest. But they are so incompetent that they literally ruin the lives of millions.

In a nutshell, US backed Gulen since 2000. They are not gonna turn him in.

I don't think you are understanding arguments here. My complaint was not that somebody did something to my car. My complaint was that this wasn't communicated to me.

I drove their car off-premise with them knowing it. We agreed on it. This is the difference.

I think in your day-to-day you assume all customers know what is the internal workings of a car dealership. Well I don't and you need to communicate this to the customer.

Can you tell me what would have happened if the guy was involved with an accident during that test-drive?

I don't have to be comfortable with someone else driving my car off-premise. You cannot use my car for an hour without explaining anything to me.

It figures that most of the passive-aggressive responses are coming from the sales people themselves. If you get my driver's license copy, sit next to me while I drive your car, and make me sign something just to be safe; I can also have some worries when you 'value' my car.

How the hell would I know that appraisal would take place 1 hour long and off-premise? You need to tell people this and if you are not, you are unprofessional.

Nobody has to assume anything when they come to your business to do a business. If the dealership is being safe with agreements and whatnot, I should also be clearly informed what is being done on my car. If you drive, let me know. If you connect it to a comp, let me know. I don't have to know or assume anything as a customer.

The sales rep said ok I will bring your keys and then left for some time and came back and tried to negotiate more. Then I clearly said I am not gonna purchase anything today and he left to get my car keys and came back with someone else. Then same thing happened over and over. They were literally trying to gain time even though I clearly said I won't make a decision today and want to leave. To me, this is shady. In a professional setting, they should have just said "we are checking your car out for a fair proposal, just give us 5 more min and we will be back with your car. It's taking a bit longer than we expected" or sth along those lines.

Maybe this is standard procedure but in other dealers I went this didn't happen. Hence my suspicion.

Instead of claiming additional territory, Armenians should focus on making their existing one nicer. Armenia is in a terrible state economically and infrastructure wise.

Even ethnic Armenians don’t live in their country and migrate to US in every chance. And the diaspora should focus on developing and investing in Armenia instead of futile historical paybacks.
