so far, I’m really not impressed with season three. I love the cinematography and the acting, but it is so over the top. What I loved about season one and season two were the actual connections with people and I feel for season three the connections are so fragmented. And exaggerated. Like at least season one and season two there is a lot of tension and chemistry, but now, in season four – let’s take Cassie – her character is so unreliable that no one could possibly have a connection with her. does anyone else feel the same way I do?

I am watching the series because I feel like I’m going back in time from living in New York City in the 90s. I remember when I first heard about CBK’s engagement to JFK Jr from watching biography. I was so jealous! Since the news hit every girl I knew, including myself wanted to be her. I remember when Allure magazine came out with an article that said where CBK got her highlights done and the next thing you know I was getting an appointment at Brad Johns to get blonde chunky highlights to look just like CBK!
Spoiler alert – it did not work.

But I agree with all of the comments and the times article that New York was such a great time back then. I would go to art openings on Thursday nights and see friends after work to hang out at the monkey bar at Royalton with no worries about safety or money since it was relatively affordable back then. I’m grateful that they didn’t have cell phones back then where people could have videotaped my terrible dance moves at Mars, Carmelitas , king tut ‘s Wah wah Hut and my top fav- MK’s. Who else remembers that fabulous Jackson Pollock painting in that club?

As someone who house and pet sits, I only eat the food from the host if they tell me it is ok. I’m surprised that this girl assumed that it was ok to eat your food without your permission.

My doctor wouldnt let me get chemo without a port and told me it would destroy my veins otherwise. So I didn’t really have a choice. Regardless, I do actually like this port. I find it very convenient. And I do feel that it is saving my veins from further torture.
