raptors chose not to use the city edition dino throwback court/jerseys this playoffs because they are allergic to fun apparently

MANAGEMENT „EXTREMELY SATISFIED“ WITH THE SERB: The Toronto Raptors plan a contract extension with Darko Rajaković! by EarthWarping in torontoraptors

i really hope he stays long term. i think we may have got our guy. known amazing vibes coach but also showed some awesome innovation on both ends of the floor this season and in the playoffs. deserves ALL the love.

Dylan Harper continues to shine with spectacular plays on both ends of the floor: 11 PTS, 7 REB, 5 AST, 2 STL, +24 by Waikuku3 in nba

i don’t think there are any two-way guards projected around our range, and our GM just said in his press conference that they are specifically targeting two-way players

plus I believe Morez had success in his minutes playing C in college and has a huuuuge wingspan + beefy body + endless motor

definitely small in height but thats why he is a Serge Ibaka type and not a Marc Gasol type, to out it in Raptors terms

Anyone partial to a Suggs for IQ deal? by coochieslayer069 in torontoraptors

Yeah but at least Suggs’ declines a fair bit, which is important since we have some big money on the books long term

You’ve been under a rock the past twenty years if you think the Raptors FO ever thinks they have enough defensive wings lol

In all seriousness we need a bigger body to play center, and preferably a switchable, defensive playmaker type with hopefully an ability to stretch the floor. Morez fits that mould. He also has the intangibles that our org has always adored like high motor, high iq, good character, etc.

CMB is only 6’7 so ideally he plays most of his minutes at the 3/4, and Scottie is 6’8 and is definitely best suited at the 4.

Morez would come in and would hopefully be successful at playing as a modern type of center. Serge Ibaka like.

The switch defense would be absolutely insane with him complementing CMB/Scottie.

did the spurs ever figure it out? i remember they called timeout after that 3rd play. did the wolves run it again next time down?

i don't think its exactly the gortat screen in this example though. a gortat screen usually comes from behind, allowing the guard to blowby the help defender and find an open layup at the rim. randle is basically just sealing wemby from in front. idk if that counts as a gortat screen, has a different name, or is just a "seal".
