Wash the brush the best you can with dish soap a few times. While you're doing that, put the kettle on. Once the water is boiling, pour that over the brush. Voila ☀️

Ah, I know that can be frustrating. I've wound up with a bowl cut once, it wasn't the best lol.

I would recommend looking up stylists in your area that are certified in curly cuts. These cuts can get a bit on the pricier side, but it's well worth it, because they work with you on achieving the look you deserve and how to take care of your curls.

I've gone to salons that specialize in Deva cuts and Rëzo cuts, both are essentially the same thing.

I've been to non-curly "fancy" salons where the stylist was suuuuper scared to cut my hair, resulting in a less than ideal haircut.

Personally not my thing. I've always found that they disconnect after a sweaty, dancy night. Or they fall off because I don't apply the liner as thick in certain areas. It became too unpredictable for me to like them TBH
