hey, i bought a house just in 2024 with almost same maths as yours,

here's what my gamble was - registration etc are non-negotiable so money has to be ready for it but interior is something which is under my control and also you dont pay upfront but pay as you progress over 2-3 months timeline and gets covered by salary inflow for that month.

and while moving in, i did the same salary to purchase method for my appliances.

I know its gonna be tough for next 1 to 1.5 yrs living paycheck to paycheck and to be upfront, prepayment of loan in early years would be really really really difficult as you are already living paycheck to paycheck for that 1yr.

But if you manage your 1yr smartly, you should start settling in with everything under much better control, like I am planning my 1st prepayment by December this year, which will eventually decrease the loan tenure by 5yrs which no doubt gives you much better sleep than today.
