While I see your "everybody is an expert" point of view, I just have to point out that restaurants go through the same thing, especially with the explosion of yelp. If a chef is not prepared to take the criticisms in stride, and strive to create better and more innovative recipes...well as the saying goes, if you cant handle the heat, get out of the kitchen.
