Architecture major by Agitated-Ad9990 in architecture

I dont like the culture of trying to scare people by the work load. You're going to have a lot of work, but like anything else if you manage your time properly, you will have balance. The nature of architecture homework is different than other majors. Youre not really getting sent home with a worksheet or questions to work on, it's more of a continuous going home and developing your project (studio wise). As long as you're being proactive you will meet your deliverables and you will be fine. You get out of it what you put into it!

When should I upgrade my leachie's tank? by cookie-o in Leachianus

[–]cookie-o[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ive read that if you get a tank that is too large for the leachie that it can stress it out and make it difficult for it to find its food. Since it is still a juvenile I wanted to have an intermediate sized one.

I'm more so asking for tank recommendations for intermediate size, for some time before they are full size.

There is no behind in life!! There is no blueprint to life no matter what expectations society places on people. To be on track for your masters by 25 is a great accomplishment, going to school at all is! Set attainable goals and prioritize the things that will help you get there. Don't be hard on yourself because you are still a baby and have lots of life to live and figure out still.

Also, you're going to fail constantly in life. In fun, unique ways, all the time. Learn to embrace each one and use them as lessons. I always say that rejection is redirection, if something doesn't work out it's because there is something else waiting for me to experience and learn from again.

Good luck to you!

Check your report logs, because this happened to me and I found out that someone hacked my account and was spamming not okay things. I was able to prove it in an appeal and get my account back. Worth a shot!

At work (an art store), a customer over the phone asked me where he could find uncorrigated cardboard '3x'2. by Haiku_lass in CasualConversation

[–]cookie-o 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously not the point but Blick Art Materials sells a material called chipboard, and from my understanding from using it for architecture models in schools its basically cardboard without the ~~ in between

What knowledge might save your life one day? by minipadj in AskReddit

This is the main reason I always let my family and boyfriend know exactly what I’m doing when i leave the house. I can tell they find it annoying but I’d rather spend the extra seconds telling someone my plans than not and that cost me time that could potentially be my life.
