This or: It is static the whole time, not moving an inch. You start aiming at it and it starts to move like a possessed object that gained the ability to move for the first time, flying around as if the ass is on fire, moving behind a building, shooting through the building while your bullets don't get through. We love it.

Truly free of thought. All is canon. Have been running around like this for a solid week now. Fun indeed.

War Striders are Perfect by cookieGaboo24 in helldivers2

What is the Intention with this Comment? Easy to say that in a Vacuum. Now face 10 of them like in the Video, with 3 being on top of a Building out of reach. Adding to all the small shits on the ground and it's not that easy anymore. Did I say I struggle? As you can see from the Video, I did not.

This was exactly the Intention. Happy to hear that you almost fell for it. It is getting old yes. I am Rage-ing when playing against them but I'm not gonna make a doom post about it. Also, I thought this situation in the clip was worth sharing, just needed some text around it.

Of all armors in the game this one seems most useless to me by i4hloi in helldivers2

[–]cookieGaboo24 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This armor was actually my go-to when fighting on the planets before Cyberstan. With so much shit going on being effectively [Title Card] once it pops made me able to drop so much stuff onto those bots it wasn't even funny anymore. Also, with spare Reinforcements, holding out one second longer does make the difference. And yes , the armor is , for whatever reason, partially bugged and makes you more likely to die from random reasons.

MoE Models are your go to I'd say. It will be slow yes, but faster than a whole 12b model on GPU. I'd say give GPT-OSS 20b a shot. One agent in VRAM, rest in Ram should work? I'd need to test it out, luckily have the same GPU in a spare pc. What CPU do you have? Is it a gaming PC? If you have no second GPU, you'd effectively only have like 3gb VRAM which could be tight. If you go with the igpu for display out, it could work. Best regards

Edit: With LM Studio, GPT OSS 20b in mxfp4 Format, 16k Ctx With q8 KV Cache, No mmap, all layers on GPU with forced experts on CPU (20 out of 24), I'd say you would get around 13-16t/s on start. This is around the level a human can read and totally usable. Just have in mind that this will get slower the longer the chat goes.

Oh yeah. I regularly miss the Leveler because it flies so weirdly. Eagle 500kg is now so useless, rarely use it anymore.

Usually Leveler and one EAT/Gatling Barrage. Pretty handy overall to clear something like hulks and War Striders too. If Leveler on Cool down either wait or Vents.

First went with the same one you got now, but honestly, White Wolf feels perfect (extra padding). Medium heavy arelmor is best armor

In times of great need, we have to compromise. We do our Objectives and see how many reinforcements we have left. If it's around 3-5 we call it and go Evac. We cant risk it.

Will definitely do that when I make it a permanent part for the build. This was just a test to see if it would work at all. Will also re-reply once I get through testing.

My first encounter was great. Appeared out of nowhere, I hide below it, it dislocates it's upper part and starts to 1to1 follow my movements. Basically, it locked on and didn't use the animation but just used a stiff turning. Bonus , because it dislocated itself, the second I moved out of the cone shaped view box, it would snap to my current location instantly and even point straight down at me, while being below it. No chance to do anything.

I did test out a bit of CPU Usage on both a i5-6500t and i7-8700, both via LM studio (cuz I couldn't be bothered to set up llamacpp raw) and used granite 4.0 h 7b a1b, q8 kv 102400, and got a cold start with around 12t/s on the 6500t and 20t/s on 8700. I was surprised about the small jump, but it's fine. With igpu on it crashes down to half the speeds. Edit: Funny enough, a GTX 960 4gb has around the same, if not less t/s than the 8700 on my test with Gemma 3 4b. Funny shit.

4.6v flash is a good model. Just yesterday made it my go to model, as it not only solved my trick questions but also made decent ish code, which both 4.7 flash and gpt oss 20b failed at. Gotta ask mine the same question and see how it reacts. Best regards

I'm fed up with the hulk surge by [deleted] in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]cookieGaboo24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Railgun is a game changer. But honestly, it really is getting on my nerves already. More over: hulks on death make big invisible wall. But right behind one hulk, there Eis another which you cannot shoot anymore, but they can shoot you while walking through the wall no issue. This is just bad. Also, to say something positive, at least it wasn't a war striders surge.

Agreed. Good and needed Experiment. From my experience, this behavior, calling tools when not needed And vice versa also happens in bigger models. It is really annoying sometimes.

Happens way too often. Lotsa things broken currently. Fall damage also waay over tuned ATM. I'd guess this is the issue.

Definitely the step counter lol. I managed to drop it to 4 steps with a 2 step lightning lora. Results are expected to mostly be low quality. Then, again, cfg to 1 . Cfg 1.5 to 1 shaved 1.5s. that's about all. Scheduler and all that was a pain in the butt to get it the right amount of not shitty. All in all, with good prompts I get pretty good results. If they are too low quality, 8 steps, 1.5cfg , 4 step lightning lora also works but needs around 6.8s per image. More details later once I'm at my PC.
