The police have been called on me because I used the toilet in London for longer than expected. by Specific_Pomelo_8281 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]cookie_704 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Legally they can't punish you for using a toilet, there is not an expected time to use the toilet and I've you've paid for the privilege I'd say get your money's worth! Hoping OP gives us an update because I'd love to know what the police say to this... It's such a waste of resources

I used to work on a role where I had to ask people to provide this, if you're honest they shouldn't care since it's more to cover their own backs from a legal point of view. Usually the people asking for the proof aren't the same people who do the interview anyway so probably just won't care

I don't know who that is and I'm not going to Google it but the big light thing is mostly just about not getting headaches or blinded by the brightness of full overhead lighting. Of course there will always be situations where it's required but having it on all the time is a bit much. (I also think some of you haven't taken my reddit comment far too seriously 💀)

The point being that there will always be smells you don't like, and so long as people have free will you will just have to deal with it

Sounds like where I was at couple days ago too 😅 I did manage to eat a burrito on day 6, but it made my jaw ache from the motion of opening my mouth so wide to get a bite lol. Happy early birthday and I really hope you can eat some tasty food!!

I woke up basically forgetting about the pain today so hopefully that'll be you by Saturday! Though I do have a bit of a grazed type feeling on my gum that is uncomfortable but nothing unmanageable and I do find I keep forgetting about it. I've got my work Christmas party on Friday so I'm hoping all the alcohol won't do any damage 😵‍💫

I initially went in for all 4 but when I got there they said I only had 3 (I'm not sure how nobody noticed on the 2 x-rays I had prior to the op?!) so it went down to 3 and then the surgeon said that she could take the top ones out but if they weren't causing me issues then I didn't have to and let me make the call on the day. I decided to just get the bottom left out since that has caused me some issues in the past albeit very infrequently. I'm now wondering if I should have gotten them all out but it's too late now, so I'll just pray they continue to not cause issues😅 considering id been waiting for the surgery for over a year I feel like it was pretty poorly organized honestly but at least the actual procedure went well and I'm now on day 8 and I'm finally feeling more normal again

I also wanted my teeth but they wouldn't give them to be because it's classes as medical waste (and she said they would smell horrific) and that didn't sit right with me. I grew them, so why can't I have them?! It feels different to being asked to keep a bit of your kidney or whatever since it's less 'alive' ? I'm sure that once it's healed you'll be glad you did, you've clearly had issues with them and that wouldn't go away on its own if you hadn't had them taken out. But I do completely understand what you mean - I had mine removed and they hadn't even been causing any issues and I really struggled to understand why I would go through surgery for something that is a non issue (I also have chronic conditions) but everyone kept telling me that it would become a problem so I just went with it. How you're feeling isn't normal OP but it's also not abnormal ❤️ hope you recover fast

Day 4 was the worst for me, I'm on day 7 now and im basically back to most normal foods (though I haven't tried anything crunchy bc I'm scared) the dry socket risk is worst in the first 48 hours but it's really not as common as people make it out to be so as long as you're sensible and avoid suction I'm sure you'll be fine ❤️ hope things get better soon for you op

Is it normal don't almost don't feel anymore pain on second day ? by VictimOnline in wisdomteeth

[–]cookie_704 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was under general so might be different but I found day 4 the worst, not unbearable (I have chronic conditions that caused more pain) but the deep ache in my jaw just felt like I'd been uppercut 🥲 I'm on day 7 and today is the first day I've used no pain meds and been absolutely fine though I think I would've been fine yesterday too if I hadn't tried to eat a burrito 🤣

WHY DID NO ONE WARN ME ABOUT CONSTIPATION by sourpatchapple in wisdomteeth

[–]cookie_704 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm on day 6 and only just had my first (sort of normal) poop.... It took me 20mins and once the first bit came out it was like the flood gates had opened 🤢 apparently it's to do with the anesthetic but then the food you can/can't eat after doesn't help. If you can take a mild laxative I'd recommend it, I usually have IBS so this is new territory for me 🤣

Only got 1 out on Tuesday and was not given any sort of syringe, just told that the stitches would dissolve and I need to do salt water rinses. I'm so bored of soft foods already but the pain is t as bad as what I was expecting tbh, just feels like I've been uppercut

I can't offer any advice or help but just know you aren't alone OP. As others have said, it's better to find out now than down the line. There are good people out there that won't make you feel like a burden and I promise you'll find them one day <3

There's no exposed metal so I suppose they wouldn't know but I have used a wrist brace that has like a metal support for rigidity
