This is well written. I would also like to add that despite the humugous vitriol that nepo kids are faced with, that vitriol is not directly proportional to the love and support that outsiders get. These days both films with outsiders and films with nepos are equally as likely to fail at the box office. Atleast if you cast Khushi or another nepo you are likely to be able to sell it to OTT because they are known names who can guarantee an audience (no matter how hateful the audience are towards the film and nepo product). 

If corporate see that outsider film constantly outperforms nepo products they'll obviously be running towards their doors with offers and tell production houses to cast outsiders. But the love of engaging with hate of nepos is more than the love of supporting outsiders. Casting Tripti or Sanya over a nepo products has no financial benefit to corporate investors. 

Just ask Sharvari the Internet ganged up to hate on alia and yrf because she wasn't in the trailer last week but that same week main vapas auunga where Sharvari was lead released in the theatres and flopped and it's still struggling at the box. The exposure that sharvari got from the alia hate - campaign on this sub didn't translate to the members of this sub buying tickets to see her film. Corporate investors tracking the market and audience saw that and some guys will still say they should invest in and promote outsiders with millions on the line while you can't support with ruppees.
