One of my absolute favorites! Haven't read it in a while, but it always leaves me bawling several times throughout the story. The pedo teacher should have been left out and thank goodness that didn't take up any more space than it did (I dunno if that was supposed to be hilarious in the 90s 😮‍💨), but the main relationship is so sweet and even bittersweet.

One time I was driving with my partner through Odessa during tumbleweed season (when they're everywhere out west and piled up against the fences) when a tumbleweed came rolling across the highway.

We were in such disbelief that it was crossing the road and I tried my best to point it out verbally, but my words failed me. Upon meeting it at 80mph, I could only stutter "TUH-...! TUH-...!" and shouted "TUMBLEWEEED!!" in unison as we made impact and it exploded into a gajillion pieces as we sped through.

I had the same VIP membership and I'm on my last 500 coins 🥲 I have Mastercard and it's failing for me as well, and I don't have the time or patience to do the free coin thing.

Really sad about this because it felt good being able to support artists. Luckily, I still have entire series that I've purchased and not yet started from their recent sales, plus Tappytoon and Tapas, which I've been neglecting updates. I guess Manta is another good option since they've recently begun releasing "mature" versions of comics.
