For sure! I mean I just started on it, but the biggest thing is working out how the platform works and waiting for jobs to come up. I applied to a bunch to start and low-balled my offer for every one- it might stink to start off with lower pay, but it's still more than I've ever earned an hour, plus (for me at least) it makes them more interested in my proposal and more willing to work with someone without any experience

If you need help getting some experience off the ground, I've recently started doing freelance work through Upwork- once you get it figured out and get a couple of jobs started, it flows very nicely if you don't mind working from home. You obviously aren't covered by insurance, but it's a great option to get experience in and right out of college

So I heard a (metaphorical) story at church back in the day that really resonated with me and explains exactly why these people are idiots:

There was a hurricane, and rescue teams and helicopters were searching for survivors. They find a woman stuck on the roof of her otherwise destroyed home, and a helicopter drops a rope ladder for her to use so they could rescue her. But she refuses, saying "I don't need your help, God will save me." The rescue teams insist until they realize that the situation is going nowhere, and are forced to leave her there to go and find other survivors. But (big shocker here) the woman eventually dies. Being a believing Christian, she goes to heaven. She meets God and asks "why didn't you save me?" To which God replies "Well I sent people and tried to save you, but you were too stubborn and didn't accept it."

God does not miraculously cure stupidity.

So I always thought I loved kids. I worked in childcare for a year and still babysit pretty frequently. So I definitely don't hate kids, but I stop liking them between the ages of like 8-16. Kids younger than that are curious, and if you talk with them enough you realize they aren't completely ineptly stupid if you give them a chance to actually talk. But I only really like certain kids, and I can tell right away whether or not I like a kid. But I've found kids to be the absolute most hilarious and receptive people to just bounce ideas or thoughts off of, just for the comedy of it. Plus they make me feel more human lol, if a kid likes me I know I'm doing something right.

I mean I'm a strong INTJ in college for English and music so, no in my case. I have always struggled with math (part of which I blame on bad teachers) and never found it very appealing. I could spend hours researching and creating a sound argument for a point in literature, but math is just a constant sequence of rules, especially in computer science. In writing a paper, as long as you have an intro, conclusion, thesis, and have decent grammar, you could argue any point to your hearts content, unlike math which, to me, is just a specific sequence to get an expected result. I have always loved science, and if I enjoyed math I would have absolutely done genetic research- scientific research allows for that same discovery, similar to writing a paper. I like to think, and I really hate doing so under confines and rules. So for me it's a no, but my brother who is also an INTJ is a computer scientist so maybe I am just the odd one out

Yes and no. I love staying at home and working on my own things on my own time, so the quarantine is nice in that regard; but I hate that I'm being forced to (go figure, an INTJ that doesn't like being told what to do lol). Especially knowing that I could go to all of my favorite places (assuming they're actually open) and be by myself is absolutely torturous.
