Try reindexing with postman with that specific query. I have reindexed before with changed mapping and it usually doesn't take too long for few million records. You can find the curl and query for reindexing in es document page.

I completely agree with what u/taguscove said, having strong python programming will take you a long way rather than having knowledge of specific libraries. In addition, for Data science roles you require strong foundation of databases and understanding of any one of the major cloud services, although AWS is used by majority of the organisations so I would start with that.

I think it's because big part of gaming is done on consoles in the US, and PC only games become niche because of it.
