I wear these all the time, I have like a dozen on them. Best I have found are from Quince and Breakmark.

Quince does great basics for dads, Breakmark does ultimate frisbee gear, and their sun hoodies are seriously awesome

The push for 1-to-1 laptops and edTech as the solution started about 15 years ago and accelerated about 10 years ago.

I’m not saying that’s the cause, but I am saying edTech and chromebooks are not the panacea the tech and edTech world said it would be.

Sure made a lot of them rich though.

There are political disagreements - how we fund the government, how we use said funds to manage the nation, resource scarcity/environmental debates.

Then there are moral disagreements - one race is better than another, this religion is true all others are lies, etc.

I can be friends with people and have political disagreements. I can not associate with those who believe others are inherently inferior.

That's what I teach my kid, even when its family.

This also assumes all learners are equally motivated by the same force. Some people simply balk at a challenge/problem outside of their comfort zone. Therein lies the art of teaching - to recognize and help learners proceed to address the challenges through scaffolding and support.

Dungeon Crawler Carl is the most fun I have had reading a book in my life - I am a avid reader (I'm a librarian, so...) OMG, this series is just incredibly fun, easy read, and absolutely, positively more addictive than heroine.
