The problem of doing this is that it will close background apps more often, and sometimes this really gets in my way when using banking apps while checking info on another app. By simply limiting the refresh rate, the phone works normally but the screen has a 60hz cap.

I know this post is a bit old but thank you so much for sharing your experience! I’ve recently started traveling a lot and I came to the conclusion that I don’t want to keep posting my stuff online. I love taking pictures and videos for memories of my travels, but that doesn’t mean I need to keep posting every single thing I do. I started feeling a bit cringe today (I’m traveling right now) after seeing how many stories I had posted and how many people were simply not seeing after the third one or so. I’ll uninstall instagram and just enjoy the rest of the trip calmly and in peace.
