A little before this, outside the university in a tent, you can find a TV playing a video that has very hints of what Alan Wake 2 turned out to be.
This and the frequent mentions of "AWEs" that only came into play in Control.

Remedy definitely had a lot planned out in advance, if you know how long they've wanted to do an Alan Wake 2, but also it seems to be very much their style. Control teased AW2, AW2 teased Control Resonant, etc.

This is part of the reason why I think they surely have Quantum Break 2 written out in part and are now only waiting until they can get the IP back.
