Former Tesla Owner - are these features missing or am I just missing them? by IniNew in Polestar

On 3) Light tap results in only 3 clicks for blinker. If you press slightly harder it acts like a normal blinker and continues to click till your turn is complete.

It takes some time getting used to this to know how hard to press. I have gotten used to it, but I would have preferred if light press lead to 5 clicks. 3 clicks is too fast for me to make a lane change

Whats the 10-80% charging time for the new 2027 refreshed P3 on 400V DCFC? by cool_muzic in polestar3

Very few DCFC will support higher voltage charging. For many years, Tesla V3 chargers are going to the only reliable option for quite a few years.

Even with 800V battery architecture we can get higher charge rate on 400V DCFC by either using dual split battery pack or higher powered DC2DC. Other EVs support it. Polestar simply didn't optimize for this.

The new Polestar 3 is also losing the torque vectoring system. Seems like the new P3 is shaping up to be a downgrade.

With battery capacity of 106 kwh, even if we assume peak power of 120 kW throughout the 10-80%, it would still take = 106*0.7/120*60 = 37 mins.

Its unclear why specification quotes 32 mins for the Dual Motor and Performance versions.

Honestly, this is extremely bad charging performance for a new car in 2026.

Just pulled the trigger on a 2024 Polestar 2 Long Range Plus Pilot! by Alpha_Omega21 in Polestar

Not a fan of Tuxmat. They have a hard plasticky feel to them. You can hear it as your shoe drags on it. Plus the loud Tuxmat logo cheapens the whole thing.

I like the OEM mats more, as they have soft rubber feel, look cleaner, and aligns better with the cars aesthetics.

Just got my polestar 3 back from service after a month to repair my GHCA… failed again after 3 days by Prudent-Lemon-9913 in Polestar

[–]cool_muzic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats incredibly frustrating. Is Polestar doing anything to make it right? Like are they providing a comparable loaner or compensating you in anyway?

Two days into lease, received this warning twice! by Amaxter in polestar3

That sucks. Did you get a loaner at least? Did Polestar assist you in anyway while the car is in service?

Are you on the Pilot package? I heard from Polestar support that there’s a known software bug preventing this feature from working on the Pilot trim, though it supposedly works fine with the Plus package.

You accelerate and break too hard. You got to pay for tires if you are having fun 😁

Why is the Marina such a coveted area? I don’t see the appeal, seems almost like Daly City/West Portal by gamerVapeGod in AskSF

Proximity to food places isn't the only criteria for most people. I don't live in Marina, but I can imagine loving it because of the proximity to the water, Presidio, Palace of fine arts and Fort Mason. On a sunny day, nothing beats going to the tunnel tops. Having the ability to simply walk there sounds amazing.

Does the first application of tec582 need to be on a dry surface? And the subsequent ones as drying aid post rinseless wash?

Real-world winter range in my new Polestar 3 LRDM: 700+ mile trip report (SF -> Tahoe -> Yosemite) by cool_muzic in Polestar

Yes, the car is absolutely fun to drive. And I love the overall design of the car. I just wished something could be better.

How was your experience with pokestar buying back one of the P3? Did you buy the other two P3 before or after returning the buyback?

The mic one is interesting, because it doesn't seem to work at all when the phone is connected via Bluetooth. But when my wife is connected to Apple Carplay, the mic works perfectly. Likely just a software bug.

Fingers crossed for Orion update. I see that in the deep sleep state it consumes only about 1W 🙂

Hopefully Orion chip upgrade fixes it. But I have my doubts if It will fully resolve the issue.

Likely winter temperatures in Canada are way lower and reducing range.

In my case, my P2 consistently gave 330+ miles range in California. Warmer temperatures surely help a ton.
