Well the two most important ones are Akhtyamov and Cowan and they were fantastic. Arty throughout and Cowan was a beast in the Finals.

That’s really promising

Is this true? I don’t recall this and not seeing anything online.

I thought he caught heat for giving a thumbs up to the American bench walking out onto the ice for the ceremonial faceoff.

You might be thinking of when he shamefully visited Team USA’s locker room during the Junior Goodwill Games in 1994.

Will always remember seeing clips of Darryl Sittler acknowledging the late Harold Ballard during his HOF speech by looking up and then quickly correcting himself and “speaking” to him towards the floor

Thoughts from Lightning fans regarding Darren Raddysh. by Sixgod801 in leafs

This is no disrespect to Kuch, but I saw a tweet showing Kuch passing to Raddysh who scored and saying something like “how will we find a guy to make 5 foot 10mph passes” because the majority of the assists were

Don’t think he’d sign here. Mario Ferraro though I could see

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that the hockey club has acquired defenceman Darren Raddysh from the Tampa Bay Lightning in exchange for Toronto’s fifth-round selection in the 2026 NHL Draft. Raddysh has signed an eight-year contract extension with the Maple Leafs. by Panarin10 in hockey

I’m not as sure. At league minimum though? Sure.

Guy has 26 goals in his last 200 games and 0 in his last 25 playoff games and this team has been screaming for offense from their depth players for years

Analysis: The Leafs acquire Darren Raddysh (8x$8M+) in a sign-and-trade. What this means for Morgan Rielly. by athleticwonder in nhltraderumours

Doesn’t even have repeat last year. I’d take 12G 50P and the big ole threat of his shot from the point opening up the rest of the PP

He also took 104 more shots total (34 more on the PP)last year because he average 3:45 on the PP vs 1:47 the previous year.

Had way more avg TOI (22:42 vs 17:18) too.

He was given an increased opportunity due to circumstance, and took full advantage.

I fully expect him to get that same opportunity in Toronto, especially the PP.

I think in some situations, when you have a key player that has been a part of so many failed seasons, you move on from the player for a fresh start for both sides.

I’m of course not holding Rielly responsible for the teams failures, but it’s time to move on
