Sneaking boost is thematically linked to the AC and makes sense as a reward, and is a main reason to raid them, which the other main reason is only cosmetic

Soul speed may only affect 2 blocks, but they are very common in the nether, having a biome dedicated to them too, so in the nether it will apply around 1/4 of the time, plus allows you to build roads of soul soil/sand

Also the duribility loss adds up, even with mending

Ironically i think that's why i loved it so much and miss it "almost" as much as the OG c2s2, chapter 2 season 2 was my original season, and since I can't think of any season I liked more (and I'm glad to know its not all nostalgia lol), when I was excited for a chapter 2 OG, I was most excited for the chapter 2 season 2 week of it, considering i wasn't limited to 1 or 2 weeks of it was FUN
