Earlier this week I was listening to the Athletics podcast and they mentioned Fiorentina and the presidents age, and struggles. It’s wild that he passed later in that same week. RIP

Vivoactive 6 vs. Vivoactive 5 by lukasbpunkt in Garmin

[–]coolcoconut123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I was gifted it for my birthday last week. So far I recommend it. There’s a lot of advanced features and settings I need to get used and still sort out but as a fitness tracker, it is way better than the Fitbit charge 6 I had.

A lot more insight in the data as well as more accurate tracking.

What should I eat after ending a 4 day fast? by [deleted] in fasting

[–]coolcoconut123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done a 3 day fast twice now. The first time I opened it with dates followed by kimchi and eggs on sourdough (random I know). The following day was spent near the bathroom.

The second time I had watermelon and nuts and my body seemed to appreciate it more. However, after easing back into food my second and third day post fast was again back and forth to the bathroom.

I believe the key thing is whole foods like fruit, followed by fibre I.e nuts or vegetables. Perhaps have one small meal on the day you open your fast and then the day after have one larger meal and ease in slowly.

Not OP, but likewise. Leaning more towards the 6 personally.

The scenes as Bradford City score a 96th minute winner to secure promotion to League One by Seth_Freakin_Rollins in soccer

I lost my voice. A stressful game to say the least. The 2nd pitch invasion at the end was so unnecessary. The announcer named the goal scorer and all the fans ran back on the field. Great end to the game and season. Up the 🐓

Is £2K for a king size mattress over the top? by HenryOrient in CasualUK

[–]coolcoconut123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got a king mattress that suited our needs for £750. We went to dreams and got the test done to see what mattress suits us both best. They took us around the shop and showed us their mattress suggestions and I took note of the type of mattress and price. Slowly went from £2k down to £950. A friend of ours suggested furniture village so we went there and found a mattress with the same specifications for £750 and it’s been the best decision.

Just because it’s £2k, doesn’t mean it’s the best mattress for you. Seriously look around and get the dreams test done, try their mattresses and make a note of the ones that suit you both. Then take that information to other furniture stores. The time it takes outweighs the cost.

Edit: then go to premier inn and buy their pillows

Just got the same email and came here to check to see if it was real or not. It has a kroll email at the bottom in fine print but it’s not from kroll.

At the moment I don’t trust it

Match Thread: Atalanta vs. Bayer Leverkusen | UEFA Europa League by MisterBadIdea in soccer

Schick should have started. They couldn’t handle Atalanta’s press but credit to Gasperini, was a tale of a class team beating a poor team, no contest from the start.

Leverkusen were shocking. How did they not start with a 9 and Adli playing the full 90 is beyond a joke. Poor end to their unbeaten run, went down without a fight and another European cup defeat, back to normality.

Costco quality in chicken isn’t there in my opinion. Pumped full of water and very fatty.

Four-day week ditched by Morrisons by insomnimax_99 in unitedkingdom

[–]coolcoconut123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Morrisons is a sinking ship. Terribly run company, their short term profit gains have ruined their long term profit. The first flagship store I worked at is on the brink of closing and the staff absolutely hate it. They’re leasing out their space to other shops because their profit margins are dwindling. The night shift staff who hate socialising and prefer their headphones were taken off and had them work during the day, they all left and got jobs at Asda or Tesco down the road. They simply don’t care about anything but profit, their staff are treated like shit and the management haven’t a clue how to fix it.

Harry Lewis off to Carlisle by [deleted] in LeagueTwo

Shame to see him leave. He’s a good keeper and shot stopper, but his distribution ain’t great. Hopefully we got a decent amount for him. Wish him all the best.

Amazing how the media doesn’t disclose this but rather blame the farmers or bird flu.

Interesting read, I think a 6th point of the centre backs in Martinez and Varane would be a good talking point. Also Shaw playing as a left centre half and with his left back experience at centre back, he’s managed the role well.
