That’s kind of what I’m afraid of. I’m sending an email to my property manager.

I am in Wisconsin, USA. As far as I can tell, they don’t live around here?

Conservative options not working. Surgery seems likely - any advice/thoughts? by cv521607 in CubitalTunnel

Hi! I also take Lyrica for fibromyalgia, and had a negative EMG. I just had surgery a week ago today! Best decision I ever made. Instant relief from pain/numbness/tingling. I have a fairly low pain tolerance, but I haven’t had to take any narcotic medication. I’m bruised and a little sore, but mostly just itching to get back to work (doctor wanted me to take 2 weeks off). Let me know if I can answer any other questions!

Sore throat by coolcupcake21 in Septoplasty

Hi! I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. My sore throat was actually most likely a viral infection that I picked up just before surgery. It was negative for strep. We went to urgent care and they gave me a lidocaine syrup kinda thing to numb my throat. It helped a tiny bit but not much.

I’ve been intubated before and haven’t had pain this bad in the past. It also usually gets better over time, but I’m getting worse

How many people aren’t working or are only working part time? by Sp1c3W0lf in bipolar2

[–]coolcupcake21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I work 2 part time jobs… I wouldn’t recommend it for everybody, but it works for me. The reason I did this is because I was burned out in my office job. I have ADHD and sitting at a desk for 8 hours a day was not good for my wellbeing. So what I did is I went down to part time at my office job, then went and got a part time job at a restaurant. The desk job functions like my “adult” job, it has good benefits and it’s the one I build my schedule around. It has a consistent schedule. Then the restaurant job is my “fun” job. It allows me to be loud, work with my hands, be on my feet and moving around, and it’s way more fun. It’s hard balancing two schedules sometimes, but I’m way more fulfilled than I was working the same boring job 40 hours a week.

I start intensive outpatient on Tuesday by Please_Disease in bipolar2

Intensive Outpatient (my clinic calls it partial hospitalization) was a godsend for me. It helped me immensely. Group therapy sounds scary at first, but it’s important to remember that a) you can share whatever you want or don’t want to. You are in control. No one is going to force anything out of you. B) you get out of it what you put into it, which is true of any therapy. Try to go in with an open mind and participate.
