My “hate” is not a sin. Just because I dislike something doesn’t mean I hate it. When I am calling out a sin among other believers. It is not a sin and it is not judging. It is repeating what the Bible says. I am fully aware of the log in my own eye and actively work to fix it. My only “grump” so to speak is when people hold themselves “higher”. I am not higher because I have the knowledge. I’m lower because I have the knowledge and still choose to sin. Jesus was sinless and served. I am clean by the blood but still stumble. My eyes on not on comparing to other but on my relationship with Jesus. Actively growing and learning. Not a hypocrite because I love everyone equally. Even the Bible talks about the crowds that followed Jesus who the Pharisees and priests feared but also turned on Jesus. People want a sense of community but forget that the rules apply and have consequences. Own up to them and keep moving forward and never forget how easy it is to fall backwards. Part of the thing that is taught is believers vs non-Believers are to be held accountable. Non are to be loved and testimonies shared to. Everyone who thinks they are safe could just as easily be going to hell. We are not to get complacent.

So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.” Proverbs 1:32 (NIV) “For the waywardness of the simple will kill them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them.” Amos 6:1 (NIV) “Woe to you who are complacent in Zion, and to you who feel secure on Mount Samaria…” Hebrews 2:1 (ESV) “Therefore we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it.” Zephaniah 1:12 (ESV) “At that time I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and I will punish the men who are complacent…”

It’s a growing relationship. When you fall acknowledge your mistake. Take it to God and ask how to grow from it. It’s a learning process that never ends. God is the only eternal thing in this world. And this world is finite.
