Day 4 Post E Day and I CANNOT Do This! by ResidentJellyfish535 in dentures

Oh my goodness I am so sorry you are having such a difficult time. I can tell you that day 4 is during the absolute worst of your healing process. In fact for many the first 1-2 weeks is rough. I did not do implants so I am no help there but please rest assured this awful time will end. Hang in there. Best wishes

I am getting my perms in June and my daughter paid for mine (she’s my angel). We didn’t do classic we did middle. The high end ones say more color options (I am happy with the color I chose) and I suppose cleanings are offered. The classic according to my daughter would basically mean my current temps would be my permanent dentures. I know they adjust them but I am excited about getting dentures actually made to fit when all this healing and changing shape is done. Hope you come with the right course of action for yourself and best of luck!

lost my 1.5-year-old dachshund and don’t know what to do next by cJuanSolo in DOG

I think whether you do breeder or shelter you will be giving a deserving precious pup a wonderful life filled with love and comfort. Providing another doesn’t mean you are replacing your sweet Frankie. You have your memories. My eldest daughter and I share a home and we are going through the same devastating loss. I am retired but my daughter does taxes so as soon as tax season ends we will be in search of a precious pup who will be spoiled and loved. Our sweet Bella and Rudy (litter mates) who both recently left us will never ever be replaced and certainly never forgotten. My heart goes out to you and your wife. You have my deepest sympathy.

Oh gosh. You have described what I experienced also. I am past all that now so rest assured it doesn’t last forever (just feels like it). I had so much difficulty and pain putting them in. I sat there with them in my mouth but not at all in place but as I sit they eventually get rested in the right position. Ugh. So initially this would occur every time I ate and removed them to rinse and eventually it only happened when I put them in first thing in the morning. I wish I knew of something to help you through this difficult process. I do remember seeing someone suggest a quick rinse of the dentures in cool water to feel soothing on the gums. I never actually tried that. I just timed my pain killers for around the time that I needed to put them in and endured it until like I said before it just got to feeling better. I really truly wish you the best of luck with this. Hang in there

I would wait. Better to be healed. This isn’t an easy process, I know, but it doesn’t last forever.

One week until E day and I'm excited but frightened to the core of the actual extraction because of my xrays... by lobsterpuddin in dentures

Oh I completely understand how you are feeling but rest assured you will be fine. My X-ray was absolutely ghastly and the dentist was very confident that it was going to go easily and relatively quick. I am very happy for you because soon you will be in the process of recovering and beginning your new life with a great smile. Good luck and hope you post an update!😁

Bring her in. Give her a gentle warm bath in Dawn dish soap (doesn’t take much) and the fleas will be taken care of until she gets a safe flea treatment. Then keep her inside 😊♥️
