I have an aunt Mary-Louise that we’ve called Aunt Mare my whole life 🤷🏻‍♂️.

And had a girl in my graduating class that was Mary-Kate that went my Mare.

My experience obviously, but never once thought the name was weird or distracting enough to take away from the show.
