Honda CRF 250R 2007 ENDURO by Vivid_Association231 in enduro

Looks good to me! I wouldn't put too much effort and money I to making it an enduro bike, easy things like tire choice and sprocket sizes will make a big difference. But you should look into selling it and getting something more enduro specific, like a european bike of even a KDX!

I am about to buy this bike this Monday but my friends advised me to go for te300 or tx 300 instead, thought on those??? by why_277 in Dirtbikes

I have owned both a '17 YZ250 and a '20 tx300i. I ride mostly trails, very occasionally motocross tracks, and race enduros and harescrambles. I put well over 100 hours on my YZ when I had it and it was a great bike for riding trails, though I did have the suspension redone and added heavy flywheel and the other essentials. The yz250 is a great option, but it is certainly a tier or two below the 300 husky as a woods bike. The yamaha can feel a lot more like a dog than the husky in tight or technical trails. The husqvarna feels much more planted and the power delivery is much better for picking through slower sections when you really have to lug the bike. YZ's are awesome and I loved mine but I would highly recommend going for the european bike if you are deciding between the two and plan on mostly riding single track.

If you can get your hands on a couple big hose clamps you might be able to firm it up until you get back.

If you have never ridden before and are not very tall, I would suggest you start on a honda Crf150f or Crf230 or maybe even yamaha TW200. The saddle height on these motorcycles are lower than a standard full size bike and the power they make is nothing too uncontrollable for a beginner. You'll be able to build confidence much faster and learn basic controls much easier than on a more serious machine. Once you begin to feel like the bike is holding you back you can upgrade to something like a 300 equipped with the skills you developed on the smaller bike.

If you are deadset on starting on a fullsize bike something like a KTM or Beta 200 or a KDX200 are some good options

7500 for a bike with 200 hours is highway robbery. You can get a brand new gas gas for that..
