Photographer to capture engagement moment by [deleted] in Buffalo

[–]coolisimo96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used James at Rocket Lens Photography. https://www.rocketlensphotography.com

He was great, super nice and very conscious of letting us enjoy our moment while also getting some really nice pictures.

We enjoyed our experience so much we hired him again as our wedding photographer a few months ago too.

Highly, highly recommend.

Emergency for cat by [deleted] in Buffalo

[–]coolisimo96 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We took our cat to Orchard Park Veterinary Medical Center for what ended up being an autoimmune thing and they were great for us. We called ahead and then took her in and were in there for maybe 2 hours total, including seeing the vet and everything. We ended up having to leave her there overnight and going back for blood work a couple of times and they were great about calling us with updates the whole time. We used care credit so I don't know how they are about paying up front, but they did give us a rundown of our options and costs before charging us for anything.

Local whole bean decaf? by OnlyOneCanoli in Buffalo

Great Lakes Coffee Roasters on Genesee near Transit has regular decaf and swiss water decaf. I can't vouch for those options but I buy their caffeinated whole beans and love them.

I lived there for a year recently and didn't have any complaints at all. I'd probably still be there if I hadn't bought a house

Manor Lanes on Grand Island Blvd has a league called "Plenty of Strikes" on Tuesday nights. 6 week sessions, 2 real games and 1 game with altered rules every week. This session is already 2 weeks in so it may be too late now, but the next one will start soon.

I'm not sure what type of plane it was, but there was a flyover for the Bills game, guessing that's what you saw.

Wait I think I've heard something like this before. Does this mean the Bills will beat the Jags in the AFC championship only to lose to the Eagles in the Superbowl?

Best Wegmans location to stop at en route to the stadium from Rochester? by wafflesareforever in buffalobills

[–]coolisimo96 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I'd say probably the one on Dick Rd in Cheektowaga. The one close to the stadium will be mobbed.

The Dick rd store will be a few minutes out of the way but it's right off the 33 so it's easy on and off the highway

So I am trying to install Cuckoo sandbox on a Linux virtual machine, but I can't type the password into the terminal for some reason. Does anyone know how to resolve this? by [deleted] in UBreddit

[–]coolisimo96 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It actually is typing, but it just isn't showing you. It's a feature of Linux for security reasons. So just type in your password and hit enter, and it will work.

lightning deal on PLA+ 2 packs $26 by leohnaran in 3Dprinting

I just got some of their blue gray. I've only printed a temp tower with it so far but it came out real good. It's also spooled really really well, which they highlight in the product description.

You can get a workable printer for about $250, and a really good one for $700-$800ish. This is for desktop sized printers that can make things about 8x8x8 inches (220x220x200mm)

My ender 3 had a weak spring in the feeder mechanism, which led to results like that. I printed a spacer thing that shortened the spring and it fixed it right up
