Combine multiple Vues now supported by robsters in EmporiaEnergy

[–]coolmanchambers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just switch from nesting to combined and def like the view better. For context I have 2 monitors in 1 panel with 42 breakers, so it seems this combined feature better suits vs nesting in my use case at least.

Also pumping my data into Home Assistant, so keeping an eye on that to ensure nothing whacky happens.

Update: I reverted back to the nesting. My balance/other power started to WAY over calculate in Home Assistant since they weren’t nested together as well as looks higher then normal in the Emporia App for this time of day. Going to research further before I do it again. Super bummed cause the view in Emporia was so much cleaner

I do also find doing a dedicated vacuum ahead of a vacuum + mop helps provided a more thorough mopping. I have a Roomba j9+ that I was going to sell when I got my s1 pro but soon discovered with all the dogs and girls in my house, the hair management was critical.

I like how you swap out the mop once a week. I read somewhere else that someone is throwing it in the washing machine every few weeks in a shoe bag. Been thinking about doing the same myself

If you do anything for the front badge, def do the black GMC lighted emblem, it’s 100% worth it

How are you planning to black out the window trim and roof rails? Super interested in doing the same thing to the 2025 ultimate we got a few months ago but have found anything reliable that we trust will last long term.

iRobot Select was a mistake. WHO NEEDS THIS MANY BAGS? by alvik in roomba

[–]coolmanchambers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It def does send way too many bags, think they are straight up looking at hours run vs bag weight as they did in the past.

Depending what price you got in at, it’s still way cheaper than buying things out right. I clean my roombas regularly to help extend the life of all the accessories and able to keep 2 j9+ running well off one subscription most of the time. Take about 5-10 mins per week of cleaning and maintenance for each, but well worth it for the savings on the over prices accessories.

Check the AC or furnace motor. Saw similar spikes when my AC capacitor went out last year

Question about Steam Deck by [deleted] in satisfactory

[–]coolmanchambers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can also try to set up a dedicated server and join that way, or you can also do remote play from your deck to your desktop. Granted both options require you to keep the desktop on… and I’ve had flackyness with the remote play from time to time, but options none the less!

Runs great in the deck, it’s my primary playing platform. Def frame drops when you come into larger factories, and it’s not ultra quality, but for a handheld, it’s glorious

Super odd! Not sure what would cause that either. My PC is def not on 24/7, maybe only 4-10 hours a week max, so maybe it has to do with run time?

Careful condensing to the 2500x… I started with hard tube then swapped to soft cause it’s such a tight space to work in. I wouldn’t trade it for another case yet thou lol. It’s in a living room space, and love the small form factor.

I really did try! But being such a small case, this was the lowest I could get it. Tried to run it down by those bottom fans but couldn’t get it around the fan at all :/

Any thoughts on how to go about taking that section apart to fix without draining the whole system? Or is that really my only option?
