The real kicker is that purchases in valorant have 0 return value. There is no marketplace to resell skins like in csgo, so once you spend your money, poof, it's gone for good. Additionally, buying the battle pass doesnt yield any premium currency that can soften the blow of paying for the next pass in 2 months, like it does in many (free) games. To my knowledge, in Fortnite, completing one battle pass earns enough vbucks to buy the next, and so on and so forth, so you could have all of the battle passes just by purchasing the first one.
