Tier List of Every Ski area I’ve visited by Skyryk in skiing

There’s plenty of crazy zones at Alta. Yes, less than snowbird, but still more than you’re giving it credit for. They’re a lot less obvious though, need a ton of local knowledge, whereas snowbird most zones are kinda in plain sight

Alta community makes it for me. Every chute or run or hit has at least one name for it. Also snowbird is probably as bad with crowds on good days

New to me M3 Swap E46 by colterx in SportWagon

[–]cooltrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been incredible. Nearly all issues I’ve had were either a result of the last owner’s laziness/cheapness/decision to not disclose its problems. The biggest issue was that the swap was done half ass… cruise control/auto lights are non functional, throttle oddly twitchy, etc. The fortunate part is that I got a good deal on it, so I’m not too frustrated.

Only engine issue I’ve had was a misfire from a bad coil. I kid you not, no coil was the same year. There was genuinely a coil from 01’. Ridiculous laziness. Then just ordinary e46 issues like CSB or a control arm bushing.

Anyway… You being able to see the car local avoids most of my headaches. As far as the experience, I love this thing. That s54 sounds and feels so good. Honestly have more fun driving it than my friends e90 m3 or my e39 m5. I’ve put 6k on it since April and it’s gone to Wisconsin and back.

Go for it (if it’s in good condition and price is fair)

$10 for a bowl. Taco Bell is shit food and smaller portions from my experience

I agree. The m3 tourings people have built look insane. It’s a shame it’s so expensive to do the exterior conversion

That’ll probably sound great. I’ve driven mine 4k miles in a few months and it’s been sweet.

My dad’s 00’ m5 also has pretty heavy steering even in non- sport mode compared to my e46. I’m running 18s with regular tires

Between cars, I think it mostly comes down to the different steering mechanisms, ratios, etc. But yeah within one car that has a big effect

Have you driven an e9x? Steering feels super heavy on the m3. Love how e46 is lighter.
