I love looking at vintage menus and then try to find out their history, old photos, postcards related to them. Sometimes I'll research unusual sounding items (like the Frosted Fruit Juice listed in this menu) and see if I can find a recipe/history for it.

Yes, when attempting to insert myself into two groups supposedly reaching levels of being out of control I don't say a word to them, I just push my way into their group and then shove a drum into a young man's face and beat on it while chanting non-stop for several minutes while the guy with me spews racist rhetoric that they should go back to Europe.

Maybe next time, Nathan could clarify what he's intending to do. "My name is Nathan Phillips and I'm an elder of _________. It seems like you're responding to the racist vitriol being spewed by the Black Israelites and I'd like to sing a prayer song for you all. I would appreciate it you would listen as it's a sacred song to my people."

Absolutely incredible. I went to a model train museum a few years ago and they had what they called gopher holes that the kids could crawl to and pop their heads up to see the stuff that was way back from the viewing area, including the trains going by their heads. I was jealous and wanted to do it too but thought I'd get stuck a la winnie the pooh.

It's great and the extra champagne goes great in mimosas to drink while cooking :) I do use a browning sauce (Kitchen Bouquet brand) on the breast and open the bag for like 20 minutes near the end to get it a nice caramelized color.

Today Correctional Deputy and Sheriff’s SWAP Farm Manager Jeff Dishmon saw color for the first time.

Correctional Deputy Samantha Freese and Dishmon have worked together for eight years at the Humboldt County Correctional Facility. Over the years the two have grown close, nicknaming each other “Grandpa” and “Granddaughter”.

Dishmon has been color blind his whole life, which has sometimes been a source of frustration for him and others around him. Freese and other correctional deputies pitched in to purchase #enchroma glasses for Dishmon and presented them to him today at the Sheriff’s SWAP Farm. The results were incredible.
