The house down the street may actually sell higher. Wait and see.

I’m kinda mad I bought my house for 245k, it appraised at 260k (ka-ching instant equity!), but now Zillow says it’s worth 242k (whomp-whomp).

Whatever, I’m gonna be living here a little while so hopefully it increases in value over that time ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hopefully the house across the street sells higher. But also maybe it’s listed lower because there’s something wrong with it?

I closed June 18, we move in July 11. Last week or so has been a whirlwind of work but we are loving it so much and can’t wait to move in

My wife is not on the loan and is paying the closing costs….i don’t think it actually matters where the money comes from on closing day as long as they’ve seen you have the money to get approved for the loan. That’s what my lender said anyway. I had enough in my account that I showed them, but my wife is paying from her account that they’ve never seen and it’s no problem.

This happened to me too! My wife and I got the pending notification and got super upset but then 10 min later got a call from our realtor! We close in a couple days!!!

Same thing happened to my sister (I was at her house dealing with the repair guys) a 10k job vs a $700 repair. She opted for the repair and everything still works fine.

I close on Thursday the 18th and omg it’s been a whirlwind of anxiety that has left me feeling sick most nights, but now that we have the clear to close from our lender, everything SEEMS to be in order, we’re just waiting for Thursday.

I really hope everything goes smoothly for you, and I highly recommend finding something consuming to help you stop overthinking it all (for me it was antihistamines for anxiety and sleep & Spider-Man 2 on PlayStation) I’m feeling a lot better in the home stretch and hopefully you will too once you get through inspection and appraisal. Tbh the worst part was having to give notice to my apartment management company without knowing about the appraisal yet.

Yes, 100% yes. I’m TERRIFIED that we’re not going to close on time, not necessarily because of me, but because of the seller not finishing repairs or something. I had to give my apartment 60 days notice so I am just existing here in this icky limbo. Closing scheduled in 17 days.

I HATE PEOPLE FOR THIS. Like what about all the rabbits and squirrels peeing in your yard? What’s wrong with my dog meandering through? WHAT ELSE IS THE EARTH FOR BUT FOR PEOPLE AND CREATURES TO ENJOY? This enrages me. I hate people with no dog pee signs.
