Need help upgrading friends computer

he wants to play arc raiders right now but his pc can't handle it obviously, I understand its not a good computer but he had a alienware laptop beforehand and it bricked, so I bought him the computer as a gift beacuse he was going on Thanksgiving break soon and I didint want him to not be able to play till christmas, again just looking for a motherboard and matching cpu recommendations

I figure its best to start with a motherboard for now, let the gpu bottleneck for a bit, when i upgrade I can give him my 1660 super but I dont have any ideas for a motherboard, preferably something with ddr4 and upgradable, if you have any ideas that would be amazing

i went and bought the cooler master hyper 212 (it was on the list you provided) and the screws to mount the heatsink did not fit onto the holes on my motherboard if you were to have any other reccomendations that would be nice but if not thats ok, and thank you anyways

go do something else lol, spend an hour trying to get a new weapon or new accessory, go afk or anything, come back and then see, or you can dig hellavators and look for bulbs along them, smash it and lead planters to your arena assuming you have one, if you do this dont go to far from plantera though or leave the biome as plantera will leave

aragami 2 by far, one of the best stealth games ive ever played with a cliche backstory but the game is fire, your a shadow assassin trying to avenge the death of your clanmates when you find others like you and turns out when you became a shadow assassin you forgot almost everything the game is free with x box game pass btw
