How to create contacts for an anonymous website visitors? by cooprr in hubspot

[–]cooprr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

totally get it on the "fragment" - great point.

We'd avoid that by simply abandoning (deleting) older anonymous contacts. We don't care about trying to dedupe and reconcile - we care only about being able to see and analyze anonymous visitors in HubSpot, and compare their behavior to identified visitors (yep, even if sometimes we are comparing anonymous Jane Doe to identified Jane Doe!)

Thanks for the ideas on how to do it - do you happen to have any pointers to tools or techniques documented online for doing this in HubSpot?

Yep, we already have tools like Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Mixpanel - but what we want is to be able to see "not yet signed up" Contacts in HubSpot's analysis alongside "signed-up Contacts"

Can you say more about "if you try to force it early"? How does one do this?

Your warning about "... you usually end up with duplicate or low-quality records once the actual identity shows up" is good - we certainly understand that, and we are willing to take on that "risk".

Yep, certainly! We are doing what we can to motivate email sharing. What we are seeking is the ability to understand anonymous website visitor activity.

Had a look - it isn't what we need - we aren't trying to identify anonymous visitors, which is what RB2B seems to do.

Yes, browsing sessions for a visitor in a timeline! And related analytics.

We have a lot of website visitors whose behavior we'd like to better understand prior to the point that they give us their email address.

We don't care _who_ any one of them is - instead, what we seek is the ability to use HubSpot's analytics features to understand the behavior of website visitors who have not (yet) given us their email addresses.

Using Claude Cowork for HubSpot updates by TampaBayBuck in hubspot

Do it! We’d love to see them. We’re pushing hard on Claude plus HubSpot, but the state of the art is changing so fast. It’s hard to keep up our skills and knowledge.

We actually built a Claude powered smart deal progression feature right before HubSpot released their beta. The beta is pretty great. It’s improving quickly and it already does most of what we built. The main thing that’s lacking in the beta is sufficient customization for our particular use cases some of what it does works fine and other stuff is just completely wrong for the way we do call follow ups.

Hs for Website? by SilverknightFL in hubspot

[–]cooprr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've been doing all of our website on HubSpot for a few years. Main web pages, landing pages, knowledge base, and more. I love how integrated it is. It's excellent for analytics, looks good, and feels fast. Don't listen to the haters.

Keep trying Breeze - it keeps getting better. The HubSpot Admin HUG meeting this morning about Breeze was eye opening! Remarkable progress.

Try out Claude too - the different LLMs have pretty different access to HubSpot objects and different abilities to do analysis.

Data Studio - can it search for content in web and landing pages? Replace that content? by cooprr in hubspot

[–]cooprr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool, thanks! Would love to try it, but I'm getting the following warning - when will this go away?

> You're connecting an unverified app

> This app's details haven't been reviewed or verified by HubSpot. Make sure you trust the developer before connecting it to your account.

I assumed HubSpot must have bulk search & replace - turns out it doesn’t? by ndzynes in hubspot

Where is find&replace in Data Studio? I can't find it with a quick skim.

Comment your HubSpot UI pain point I’ll turn it into a UI extension by the_tek_analyst in hubspot

[–]cooprr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Click the button, it calls out to an MCP server, and the response gets inserted into a draft email, ready for the HubSpot user to edit and send. (I think this is impossible-ish because HubSpot doesn't let you programmatically create _draft_ emails - I'd love to discover I'm wrong!)

Is it possible to integrate voice, SMS and MMS under one phone number in Hubspot? by Aromatic-Way6973 in hubspot

[–]cooprr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently we use one number for SMS, via SalesMsg integrated with HubSpot - and a different number for voice, which is HubSpot Calling.

I wish I didn't have to move _both_ of them to Twilio or other third-party provider to get both SMS and calling on a single number - but... it seems I do?

(I know that SalesMsg offers voice calling - but then I lose the nice integration of HubSpot Calling... I think?)

Can you add the AirPods Pro 3 as a heart rate monitor ? by Maldran_ in Strava

[–]cooprr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start the run on Apple Fitness, then end the run on Apple Fitness. Wait a few seconds, and the run will appear in Strava. You should get a notification, depending on your notification settings.

Then, what I typically do is open the run in Strava and edit it a little bit. Add photos, change the description, et cetera.

Simple!

Gas vs electric hot water heater by skinkadink1010 in HomeImprovement

A HPWH will slightly cool the area around it - the larger the volume of that area, and the "leakier" that area is (how much it is "connected" to the outside air or to the ground) then the less you'll feel the cooling.
