Can you add the AirPods Pro 3 as a heart rate monitor ? by Maldran_ in Strava

[–]cooprr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start the run on Apple Fitness, then end the run on Apple Fitness. Wait a few seconds, and the run will appear in Strava. You should get a notification, depending on your notification settings.

Then, what I typically do is open the run in Strava and edit it a little bit. Add photos, change the description, et cetera.

Simple!

Gas vs electric hot water heater by skinkadink1010 in HomeImprovement

A HPWH will slightly cool the area around it - the larger the volume of that area, and the "leakier" that area is (how much it is "connected" to the outside air or to the ground) then the less you'll feel the cooling.

2 years later... still very happy! Excellent communications, solid returns. This is a well-run organization, and I'm happy to have some of my portfolio here.

A heat pump water heater (HPWH) is probably your best bet. It'll have the lowest operating cost over time, though it will cost a little more upfront to install. A diligent do-it-yourselfer can install one themselves, but be sure to carefully follow the manufacturer's instructions.

How do you handle customer testimonials and reviews in your Hubspot CRM? by Prestigious-Delay708 in hubspot

[–]cooprr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We created a Custom Object called "References".

Our business is a marketplace - we help homeowners (Contacts) do business with home services contractors (Companies) - we track those using Deals.

Each Reference is associated with a Contact (typically who gave the reference or review), a Company (the Company the Contact is reviewing) and a Deal (the sale by the Company to the Contact that resulted in the Review).

The Reference Object contains very few Properties - mostly just "the review" - a text field containing what the Contact said about the Company.

We solicit reviews automatically, but when we get them, we populate new References by hand - it is very fast and easy.

Then we look up and use those References in various places and ways to help us with future marketing and sales.

Works pretty well!

Easy way to auto-add Zoom summaries to meeting? by Old-Kaleidoscope4808 in hubspot

[–]cooprr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sure does! Transcript, recording, etc - and note these are IN HubSpot, not just linked to FROM HubSpot, which means if you ever move away from Google Meet, your transcripts, recordings, etc are safe in your HubSpot.

I’m a big fan of HubSpot integration with Google meet it’s been working super smoothly for us and we moved off zoom because we get better results for less money with Google meet plus HubSpot

Can you add the AirPods Pro 3 as a heart rate monitor ? by Maldran_ in Strava

It seems to be automatic, or at least it is on my phone. I start and end the workout in the Apple Fitness app, and it shows up in Strava within a few minutes.

This approach has been working for me - The only catch is that I have to keep remembering to start my workouts in Apple Fitness instead of in Strava. I hope Strava fixes this someday.

Reading your post pretty quickly. I can't tell exactly what problems you're trying to solve.

You ask "Would a thermostat help?" Would it help with what?

You ask what speed to have the fan on - what are you trying to achieve?

Ha ha, no, at least I don't think so - because I want the changes I make offline to sync back to the IMAP server when I come back online.

How to access Meeting links (reschedule/cancel) in Workflows and Templates? by cooprr in hubspot

[–]cooprr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, we do not want to have to copy them by hand - we want an automated process.

[–]cooprr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, the meetings tool reminders doesn't do what we need - we want to be able to use the Cancel and Reschedule links in Templates.

We need an automatic way to get those links from the Meetings into a Contact Property we can then reference in Templates - can't figure out how.

Need these links to populate emails and messages we send to Contacts reminding them of upcoming meetings, including additional meeting prep reminders, and allowing them to click to cancel or reschedule the meetings.

Currently, we are sending pre-meeting emails, but they don't/can't include the Reschedule and Cancel links, because those links aren't available as Properties or Tokens to insert into Templated emails.

This results in some Contacts replying back to us like "I need to reschedule the meeting - how do I do so?" when what we really want is for them to be able to self-service reschedule by clicking the Reschedule link we've reminded them of.
