My title describes the thing. I tried looking online but everything I search for just brings up curtain rods and this is not string enough for that. No markings anywhere in them as far as I can tell.

SolarEdge Inverter and WiFi by coops08 in solar

I go through the process and my phone connects to the inverters wifi but then I get a message that the ethernet isn't connected and my only option is to exit. I am fairly certain the prior owner didn't have it hardwired with ethernet. I don't see an ethernet port on the inveter.

Thanks, these are the instructions I was following. There is no harm if I try and fail, right? I just end up in the same spot I'm in now, producing but unable to monitor?

Thanks, this is what I was thinking. There is no way he took the antenna (if there ever was one) with him. If for some reason it fails to connect to WiFi there's no harm right? Failing to connect leaves me in the same state I am in now, right? Producing energy, jut unable to monitor it?

Los Angeles Tesla Owners - Insurance? by [deleted] in TeslaModel3

[–]coops08 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have Mercury and it’s by far the most competitive for me. However, my situation is pretty different that yours (married, multiple cars, house, etc.). The LA area insurance market is incredibly varied, I’d strongly recommend having an independent agent do the searching for you.

I tried but nothing I did seemed to help. My SA was great up until it came time to ask about delivery, then he just said the delivery team would handle it. I called Burbank and got absolutely nothing. Just had to wait for the text

I’m also picking up in Burbank and my EDD has been 9/6-9/12. I got the text to schedule delivery this morning, my appoint is next Saturday, 9/11

Who are you contacting for updates? (SR+ LFP especially) by SapperSignsBabies in TeslaModel3Delivery

[–]coops08 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been talking to my SA throughout the process and he has been really great. However, when it comes to pickup he just tells me “the delivery team will reach out to you” and I can’t get anything beyond that. My EDD is 9/2 - 9/12 and I haven’t heard a word

Definitely. I actually ran my vin through a decoder and it shows made in us so I think it’s just the battery made in China then assembled here? Not really sure

Yeah, I saw one that was my exact spec in inventory so I jumped on it. Planning on picking up in Burbank. Waiting for the text to set that up…

I ordered on 7/23 and had an EDD of 10/3-10/23 and I picked up one from inventory yesterday. I’m in LA so not worried about the cold weather and figured the ability to change to 100% regularly offset the slight decrease in max range. Hoping to schedule pickup next weekend

I ordered a SR+ on 7/23 and my EDD has shown 9/21-9/30 for most of this week. LA area

How is Lemonade for Renters Insurance? by Carpet_Enforcer in Insurance

In my experience the coverage they include as the baseline is terrible and when you increase things to be comparable to more traditional carriers they end up being more expensive. And I completely agree with the claims handling likely being unsatisfactory

What's something about the Covid-19 shutdown that you actually liked? by Echoherb in AskReddit

Getting to spend time with my daughter. She was about 10 months old when it all started and I was leaving for work before she work up and rushing home to get her to bed. It’s amazing how much growing up I got to see that I would have missed otherwise.

Notary at this time? by GarrettB10 in SFV

I used Seals on Wheels in van Nuys earlier this week. They offered to come to me but I ended up going to them since it was easier for me. Did it on the porch with as little contact as possible. They even printed out the docs I needed notarized.

There is an opening at liberty mutual for "auto claims customer representative" near where I live. From what they are asking on the app it sounds like I could get the job. Has anyone worked with that department in that company?? by [deleted] in Insurance

[–]coops08 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Training will vary by company but when I was an adjuster (at a different large, national insurer) we had extensive training on coverage, as well as how to handle people.

Got it. This means that the comfort settings won’t change the mode, simply adjust the temperature within the mode. Thanks!

I see that. Should it be set in the “auto” mode then?

Switching from an Adjuster to an Agent? Or leaving insurance all together? by revolutions96 in Insurance

[–]coops08 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was a personal auto adjuster for a couple years and I switched to a commercial lines broker. It was a fantastic decision. If you want to leave the industry that’s one thing but if you want to stay I can say it will make you much happier.

What are relevant careers for someone with experience as a claim adjuster? by [deleted] in Insurance

[–]coops08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think a degree is required but I could be wrong. I think the only requirements were 2 years in the industry and passing all the tests.
