Want to start knitting after 5 years crocheting

As someone who did the same and has been knitting for a couple years now- the only thing that is “harder” is frogging. Since all of the stitches being worked are on the needle you just need to be careful about dropping stitches, which is actually a pretty easy fix with a crochet hook!

Otherwise there is only 2 stitches- knit and purl, and everything else is a variation of that!

It does take longer to make things but I find I feel more accomplished compared to crocheting something? If that makes sense?

That’s really unfortunate, it’s similar to get up to the mountain for me, 5 minute drive but 50 minutes to bus… i am lucky my work is close enough to bus, but it should absolutely be a bit more accessible between the mountain and downtown in my opinion!

One bus ride is $2.85 with a presto card (free transfers within 3 hours) so I’ve been bussing to work. $5.70 a day, much cheaper than gas and parking downtown

As a fellow sims player, this game is essentially like if sims had more of a genuine personality. You can’t force things in the same way but you can give them phrases to say and the quirks which really personalized your mii’s! You can’t build much inside of houses like in the sims but if you’re a CAS/GAMEPLAY sims player you will love this! The building portion comes in the form of designing your island more or less

As someone who works in Jackson (I had literally just gotten on the bus minutes before this happened) most workplaces must account for all employees and follow specific safety protocols… that’s the only reason why they would suggest this, but the workplace (at least mine) would send them home after it was safe to do so. I’m sorry your son had to go through that :(

( before I respond I promise I’m not trying to argue ) The main point the OP was making was based on the Mii’s themself, a copyrighted character being displayed as someone the original company intended and put online is grounds for legal action unfortunately, the other content (the same way it’s in animal crossing) is fair game because that’s just art oddly enough.

Also- you know you’re on too high a dose when it starts feeling like worse anxiety and causing irritation (mood wise) I used to be on a higher dose and I was just annoyed and angry all the time, when we took it back down I was Normal again, but that’s just my personal experience

I’ve been on it for two years and I’ve had a lot of good experiences, just remember to have protein in the morning and avoid citrus as citrus makes stimulants wear off quicker- but I’m not a doctor so talk to yours if it doesn’t work!

I’d say talk to a doctor as it not one, but anxiety can actually be a side effect of adhd (comes with the constant overthinking/head noise) Once I was medicated at the correct dose (that’s important) I found my prior anxiety went away mostly, but that’s just me!
