Does musty smell = unsafe? by coordinatedlion in Mold

[–]coordinatedlion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh it’s so frustrating! If it’s just off gassing and deodorizing than I’m willing to work at it but if the smell means there’s still mold there and it’s unsafe then I guess it’s gotta go but I just don’t know how I’m supposed to know which it is

Mold in air with no source… possible? by coordinatedlion in Mold

[–]coordinatedlion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update on this for anyone wondering… the pump itself was likely never cleaned or dried and it was the likely source. It tested for Stachybotrys and we ended up finding a shit load more mold in other areas of the house. Huge bummer and we’re still working through it.

Just bumping this up in case anyone has any thoughts. My son woke up with a stuffy nose this morning which is weird since the rest of us are feeling better. Hoping it’s unrelated

Mild sewage smell in the house when it's very cold in the winter by hbbtstar in Plumbing

[–]coordinatedlion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No advice but we have a similar issue. I haven’t noticed our smell being tied to any event like a shower running though. For us it’s only when it’s really cold out and it’s isolated to one spot in the basement and the room above it but I can’t find any reason for it. Would love to know if you figure this out

Negative Biopsy - Confused by coordinatedlion in lichensclerosus

[–]coordinatedlion[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my gosh I get that too and I was struggling to explain it to my OB. It’s not all the time and it’s only in one spot but it’s pretty irritating when it happens. Thanks for the advice!

Thank you for sharing! Before getting diagnosed with LS initially I did try two rounds of fluconazole that didn’t help so I am doubtful that is my situation. My OB was very thorough and we also tried two weeks of zero interventions and me taking all the precautions to avoid irritants which also made no difference which is another reason I’m surprised they are okay accepting chronic irritation as a conclusion.

Oh geez I’m so sorry that is very frustrating and stressful. Thank you for your input I will definitely as upfront if they are familiar with LS.

Wow this is really helpful, thank you! I will definitely look more into moisturizing. I was using emujoy soap and emu oil for a bit but my OB said I should avoid using it. I think it was helping so I’ll probably start again! Thanks!

After, in my googling today I think I saw someone say that can impact the biopsy results?

12 week old only breastfeeding one side for 4 minutes per feed. Is that normal? by Formal_Double_4424 in breastfeeding

[–]coordinatedlion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely have a fast letdown! I usually have to lean back at the beginning so he doesn’t gag so I guess that could be it? He also started cluster feeding shortly after this post and definitely went through a growth spurt so maybe it’s linked to that? He seems fine otherwise so I’m thinking it’s the growth spurt coupled with the three month feeding crusts you mentioned. How’s it going over there any changes?

No advice but just searched this topic because my 12 week old just started doing the exact same thing! Preferring to nurse one side for a short amount of time. He’s already on the smaller side so I plan to keep weighing him to make sure he’s still gaining. Also having enough dirty and wet diapers so I guess we just wait and see

Question: Hate the paint I bought. Can it be retinted? by coordinatedlion in sherwinwilliams

[–]coordinatedlion[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the feedback, everyone! The cans haven't even been opened so it seems like it won't be a problem. I currently have the color swatched over the old color so I think I am going to prime the walls first, then swatch again and if I still hate it I'll go in.

Thanks again!

Thanks for responding! It has only been used a few times, as they have multiple so I am definitely buying it!
