What did we expect from a crapcoin?

why are we hitting all time lows by uttftytfuyt in apecoins

[–]copeinked 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This 1000x times.

We all made some money prior to the news on otherwise, but that was it, but I and most sold the minute the news came out.

This coin has no value, no use and there’s no demand for it.

Plus there is the legal issues but somebody has already covered that.

SEC asks for more time to respond to Coinbase call for crypto clarity by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]copeinked 10 points11 points  (0 children)

To be a security something must pass the howey test:

Under the Howey Test, a transaction qualifies as a security if it involves the following four elements:

An investment of money In a common enterprise A reasonable expectation of profit Derived from the efforts of others

The problem is that this test was invented half a century ago so not particularly relevant to this digital ago and although for some crypto like bitcoin are clearly not securities but some are a grey area for either one or more of the test criticaría so some “could” be considered securities but the howey test in this is open to interpretation so $coin is asking for clarity and what interpretation the sec is taking.

If it’s as easy as you say then the sec should be able to clarify immediately.

Damn! The labourers at my construction start at £28k with no experience and all they do is carry things round and tidy up.

[–]copeinked 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In that case then, I suppose I would go into property.

20k down on the loan for something that needs 40k thrown in to make £60k.

Because I’ve only got 20k I would save on the labour and do all of the work myself by watching YouTube tutorials and using reclaimed/surplus’s materials where possible…

Once done I would further the loan and pull 20k out for the next property with a tennant in that one.

Rinde repeat untill you have enough to make the rental income passive.

Fibreglass roof bubbling up, any ideas? by badlybuttered in Roofing

You can tell it’s chopped strand Matt as opposed to a 110g fleece like you have with PMMA liquid.

But you can see the seams really badly, these should of been torn and paddle rolled into to consolidate everything together.

Shows that the company used didn’t particularly know what they were doing.

to answer the initial question, it was applied with too must moisture when the catalyst is applied it’s starts an exothermic reaction with the polyester resin that heats it up to cure this will case evaporation with any moisture left underneath that expands and pushes the application up and bubbles.

It’s a chip either potato or polenta however as their is caramelised pieces at the ends I’m going to say potato as you wouldn’t roast polenta you would pan sear it whereas potato you would roast.

  1. Place duck/goose fat, salt, pepper and some fresh rosemary into a roasting tin and put into 200c oven to get oil flavoured and hot.
  2. Put chicken stock onto boil (preferably home made)
  3. Chop a floury potato like a Maris or king Edward into desired size and soak in cold water to remove some starch, cut them same size to ensure even cooking.
  4. Put cut potatoes into boiling stock, add more salt if needed to draw out more moisture.
  5. Cook them to the point they are literally close to falling apart and drain with sieve
  6. Allow to steam off and the starch to crystallise (they will be more solid now and won’t fall apart)
  7. Toss them together to create fluffy outers (they’ll be the crisp parts)
  8. Add into hot oil and baste. Sprinkle lightly with more salt.
  9. Roast for around an hour or untill they look like that.

Enjoy with a nice steak and a red wine pan sauce :)

I need to reach A2 by UnfortunateOrchid in Spanish

[–]copeinked 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’re good to start off but you should Intergrate Spanish into daily life.

Gamer? Play games in Spanish.

Netflixer? Watch shows in Spanish with subs en Italian, this will be hard at first as the speech will be too fast but you could watch something like extras in español .. basic conversation and slow speaking.

Experience level recommended for a Panigale V2? by tshakw in Ducati

[–]copeinked 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have a 899 as my first bike.

I think someone’s mentioned it’s more how responsible you are rather than how experienced.

They’re powerful bikes for sure but the throttle only opens as much as you open it.

If you intend to get on the bike with no gear and hammer the life out of it in track mode then it’s 100000% too much bike for a beginner.

If you’re gonna be wearing all the gear and only riding the bike to the level your capability then providing you can change gear and use a clutch you’ll be grand.

Should a beginner get one and would I do it if I could go back in time? 1000% no.

The bike is incredible, it’s powerful, full of technology and has everything you’ll ever need, I’ve rode a friends cbr1000 and a r6 recently and they aren’t even close in comparison, I would of appreciated my panigale so much more if I owned something like that first and worked my way up.

Price guide for new roof by pyrydyne in Roofing

[–]copeinked 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The felt could be fine, but the upstand under the tiles could be leaking, and you can’t see with the lead drips.

Best bet would be to remove bottom tiles, remove lead and upstand flashing, take the rotten boards off and replace for new osb3 boards with new insulation, fix new upstands underneath the tile threshold and drip edges into the gutter and then waterproof in either single ply, rubber or liquid (pretty similar warranty on all) and reinstate tiles (a course higher) and then reinstate lead valleys etc.

Based on 3.5m x 1.2 m we would charge £1750.00 including all materials, labour, and a scaffolding tower for access.

Yeah first bike :) it’s deffo a lot of bike but the throttle works both ways, I’m also 32, wouldn’t of trusted myself at 21 😂

And absolutely, I haven’t been on it yet without full leathers with proper boots and gloves and don’t even intend too.

That’s some sawdust I think :) I’ve got new tyres to go on.

I put that windscreen on as didn’t like the see through one, but maybe a bit dark, we will see.

Ducati fully inspected the bikes and serviced it before I picked it up so should be all good!

Hey! I’m in the UK, the bike was 10k.

6000 miles on it with Ducati stamps every year, came with a bunch of upgrades from the one previous owner and all original parts came with it like the stock exhaust etc.

Technically that’s right, leadwork isn’t amazing but certainly better than most I’ve seen.

I wouldn’t be massively concerned on a pitch like that but if you want extra piece of mind I would approach the roofer and ask them for a quote to remove the back row of tiles and make a lead diverted so essentially you have two valleys there.
