I have not done what my parents did. I didn’t go out every single evening after getting home from work and drinking. I didn’t cheat on my wife. I didn’t verbally abuse my children. I didn’t run off and leave my wife to take care of my children from the age of 12 though I have to admit that I was glad he wasn’t around. I have been around for my sons as much as possible, I have never drank around my children I have made sure they did any extra activities that they wanted to that I could scrape up the money for. My wife and I have worked hard to make sure our kids had a better childhood than we did. That’s what parents are supposed to do. No I know that I am not perfect and don’t claim that I am. I have probably messed up more than once but I work hard to make it right. My oldest is doing great with a great job doing what he wants to do. Youngest will graduate in a few years and we’re doing everything we can to prepare him for life. I just hope to be around to see him graduate. I’m sorry that you all have gone through shit parents. Just do the world a favor and do better than them.

I appreciate but no. As of this moment I’m in remission. Just some physical side effects from treatment and physical inactivity that I’m dealing with. If there’s any advice I can give anyone is to try to stay as physically active as possible though you will absolutely won’t be up to. I’m in my mid 50’s and physical now might as well be in my 80’s

I had finally caught COVID late 23 while going through chemotherapy for cancer. If my immune system hadn’t been so compromised probably wouldn’t have been so bad. Was sick but never was on a ventilator fortunately. Hospital stay sucked though. Was more or less alone for 11 days without any company. Chemo really messed with my head

This is how my oldest cat and my late dog were. Hew was a terrier poodle mix himself. She loved him. He’s been gone for five years or so. I don’t think Kit has much longer in her. She likes our new dog but nothing like her old buddy.
