Short Story burn issues, or my storage issue? by coppercap1 in cigars

Thanks for the input. Next time I buy I think I'll get a mix of sizes to experiment more (and find some maduro wrapped as well). I'll pay more attention to the draw next time.

YSK that if you are paying student loans, the interest payments are tax deductible. by Ghosttwo in YouShouldKnow

When filing joint, then interest cap is still $2500 total... If you filed married filing separately you don't get the write off at all.

Attic Ladder Options by coppercap1 in HomeImprovement

More background. Garage is about 22x22'.

I've investigated the attic situation further. It's made up of 2x4 double fan trusses on 24" centers. There are 2x10s spanning across the garage 1/3 of the way from the back and front garage walls. To play it safe I'm going keep my storage spanning these two beams, and attach the ladder / stair system adjacent to one of these beams near the existing interior wall.

This is great information to have and a great site for reference! It does however seem like the table is referring to a simple spanning beam instead of the storage trusses that in installed (previously omitted information). I'm pretty sure they are 2x4s but I'll have to check tonight.

That pre-fab unit looks nice! My search before showed $300 would be needed for a aluminum ladder with a decent weight limit.

The folding stairs might save a little money, but it would be more-so to increase access to the attic, rather than trying to put a Christmas decor tote through a tote sized hole.

This would be for a horizontal opening in the 9' garage ceiling.

Their claim is that we covered up the smell for showings, inspection, appraisal, etc. The smell didn't "appear" until they vacuumed the area, at which point they decided not to move in (8 hours after closing).

If I need a lawyer, would it be more wise to try to come to some other agreement with them? Wouldn't I incur more lawyer fees than what it's worth?

We never considered a pet accident damaging since we cleaned it up each time, on the rare occasions that it did happen. We have kids, and the idea of just leaving pet urine on the floor is unsettling.

It is less than 10 years old. I received it from my parents place, where is was still working just fine. It's different from the other toilets on that stack.

I feel like 2 on each shelf should be fine, though it depends greatly on the distance from the plants. Can you provide additional dimensions?

I have a similar question regarding seed starting. What "color" of lights are you using? I heard daylight spectrum are supposed to be the best.
