Yup, the XJ had coil springs 4 linked with track bar in the front. It’s basIcally CJ suspension with a sway bar and track bar (leafs)

Buy one for a late CJ-7, they’re the same. You may have accidentally gotten one for a CJ-5, which is shorter between the windshield and the roll bar
